We are writing to you in reference to your pre order for Call of Duty Black ops. (all formats, normal and hardened editions)
In accordance with Activision requiring a simultaneous release date please note that all copies of this title will be dispatched Monday 8th November in time for its official release date of 9th November 2011.
Looks like all pre-orders will be expected on 9th so anyone hoping to have it on the monday it looks like it wont happen.
Dont believe that for 1 bit, thats just standard for any games release. On modern warfare 2 last year hmv delivered the prestige edition a day early.someone will send them out a day early then that way they get repeat customers.Started advent comps 04.12.2013

Shopto always send out early so im gutted, really wanted it on monday."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. I see what you mean. But who would go into a shop for something they did want, and then just grab something they didn't want?
Even if you do your shopping at the same time, it's not like you're never going to eat it.
Quite simple- they head to Sainsburys to get the game for £25 but logically they grab some other bits and pieces they also need rather than then driving to ASDA to get their groceries slightly cheaper.0 -
looks like the people who have ordered it from Woolies are getting cancelation emails .

My Sainsburys aren't taking anymore £2 pre-orders as they reckon they have taken too many??:(
Mind you, they also reckon it will be selling for £39.90 0n release day??:hello:0 -
Went to my (massive) local Sainsburys to preorder a copy for DS, and they claimed that Sainsburys stores NEVER allow people to pre order games!
I explained that people on t'internet were reporting that they had paid £2 and reserved a copy. The two people behind the till treated me like a lying idiot!
I'm off to Asda tomorrow!0 -

My local Sainsburys also wouldn't take pre-orders but they were more polite. They told me that only certain Sainsburys were doing pre-orders, approx. 40 across the country

thats terrible . all i can say is that when approached Customer Services counter in Sainsburys in Leicester i fully expected them to not have a clue what i was talking about .
But no !!!
Before i could even say the words "Call of Duty" , the nice lady asked if i was wanting pre order a copy of Black Ops , and promptly took my £2 and gave me a receipt clearly saying my clearly my game was reserved instore for me .
And i did check with her that if there was a sale price of £25 , my pre order entitled me to get for £25 .
see you from around 6:15 am in front of Sainsburys this tuesdayBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
