Supermarket cheap deals, don't make me laugh, you always pay the full price for the item on a loss leader.Am I missing something here? If I go to Sains next tue and get it for £25 how am I paying full price
I wondered that too photome :cool:0 -
i think he means this is a loss leader (ie - the are losing money on this item cos they are buying it in at more than £25) but most people that aren't avid MSE'rs go into the shop and buy other things at the same time with a big mark up. So they'll make money back by inticing people in the store under the - OMG this is only £25 - and then these people will also buy other things!0

I see what you mean. But who would go into a shop for something they did want, and then just grab something they didn't want?
Even if you do your shopping at the same time, it's not like you're never going to eat it.0 -
The people who see the advert and turn up hoping to grab a copy with the shopping rather than going to the competition.0

I double checked my use of the code at Very and they have cmfirmed they will honour it so should be getting it for £23.99.
A large Sainsburys not a million miles from me by the sounds of it DID NOT run out of MW2 on release day and still had copies on the shelf at 18:00 with more being delivered that evening. Might see if I can pick another one up to Ebay.0 -

Perhaps you could just offer her a go? then perhaps she'll really like it and want to play. Then again,if that works you might have a struggle getting it back,so i guess you have to weigh up whats more important to you. You playing cod or your missus playing cod lol
lol sounds like me, hubby said to have a go of MW2.. bet he wishes i didn't like it now as I'm on there almost as much as him! think we'll be fighting over who gets to play blacl ops first.. unless we get another TV, PS3 and game ... but thats not very mse is it lol0 -
Just got this from my shop.to email.
We are writing to you in reference to your pre order for Call of Duty Black ops. (all formats, normal and hardened editions)
In accordance with Activision requiring a simultaneous release date please note that all copies of this title will be dispatched Monday 8th November in time for its official release date of 9th November 2011.
Looks like all pre-orders will be expected on 9th so anyone hoping to have it on the monday it looks like it wont happen."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." — Marilyn Monroepinkladymel wrote: »she hasn't lost the ol' Bootsing magic:D
