Im definitely not pre ordering. Ill take my chances and hope for a 'price war' like last time lol. If there isnt one then nothing lost, nothing gained and ill just buy it at the regular price.
I just cant see the sense in pre ordering something that might be available at almost half the price when its released.

I went to asda @ 12 to get fifa 11. The cheapest online pre order price is £34.90 with the lowest supermarket price being £25 (guess!)

I queued for 2 hours to get Fifa 11 (assuming Black ops will be longer)

Depends how much you valure your time £5 to queue up for an hour

    Im going to preorder :)

Well as the 9th is a tuesday i will already be in the supermarket at 9am anyway so i wont be doing anything out of the ordinary. Tuesday is shopping day and i go straight from dropping my little boy of at school,so the only thing the extra queing time might do to me is expand my waist whilst i eat the cakes i will have no doubt bought whilst doing the grocery shopping :rotfl:
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona
  • pre ordered mine today for oh who has booked 2 days holl to play! lol

I am thinking of buying from Amazon but I would use their free Super Saver Delivery.
Whenever I pre-order games from Play/Game etc I always receive them on day of release.
Would this still be the case for Amazon as I've never ordered a "pre-order" from them before?
I am concerned that I will get it 3-5 days after release and have a miserable son to contend with! :o
    Thanks.

    Ordered 2 copys

1 at Woollies with the £25 code - which im unsure will turn up

    1 from Shop2 for £42 at a contingency.

I'll just send back the £42 one if the first turns up.

Hey, what's the woolies code? I can't find anything about it on the discount codes board.

woolworths are NOT taking any more orders using the codes..
But very are, and it 23.95 with the code if you set up a credit account
(WHICH YOU DON'T NEED TO USE.)

    The code is ZZ080
Good luck if you use it :D

That would work if supermarket opens at 9 , but because all supermarkets open earlier than that, my guess is you will be to late
