Our local Sainsburys (Chafford Hundred nr Lakeside) wont take pre-orders either. She also said they did not know the price yet but my husband felt that she knew really but wasnt allowed to say.

yes i dont think they can say the price in case changed between now and tuesday

I checked in Belfast today and didn't get anywhere. Game are quoting £39.xx or as a previous post says, reduced when you trade in a very recent game. Sainsburys checked their system and the best they could tell me was £39.97 but then they couldn't even see the release date.

I'm hoping Asda or Tesco have a good deal as Sainsburys is a 20-30 minute trek away compared to 5 mins for Asda or Mr T. That leaves an extra 30 to 50 minutes gaming once I've bought it

Haven't heard anything yet about price, but I know someone who got COD6 last year in a Game store in NI (won't name to protect the staff) the evening before release. Apparently their tills are done at 5.30 - 6.00 and anything sold after that time shows up in the following days sales figures. That means no penalty for selling 'early'. He did have to banter a bit with the staff, but they agreed to let him have it at 7pm.
That's an extra 5 HOURS of play!

I suspect I'll be queueing at Asda in A'Town at midnight with everyone else.

I have just ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops & Smackdown vs Raw 2011 as a bundle for £64.98 from Game.

They have put together several bundles, worth taking a look!

I also used a voucher £6 off when you spend £60 (MVCXmas10) so got the package for £58.98 plus points used off my reward card aswell. Great deal worked out at £28.24 each game :rotfl:

They said they are open on Monday night until 12.30 and the game will be £25, but you will also have to spend £30 to qualify

Just phoned my local sainsburys and said the same as above poster only they are opening for 1 hour only from Midnight (not 24hr store)
