They said they are open on Monday night until 12.30 and the game will be £25, but you will also have to spend £30 to qualify
Could the "£30 spend" be on another game?.. or does it have to be on groceries?

I have reserved a copy in Sainsburys Norwich, no problems at customer services. You can also get the £2 refunded if you change your mind.

ps Trets why are you going to queue if you have one pre ordered. I wont be

because i'm sad and want to play it ASAP . i finish work at 6am , and Sainsburys is just down the road and opens a hour later . will probably fill up the car and then just get down there and wait . not worth driving 20 mins home and then driving all the way back again later in the day .

if you do have to spend a certain amount of food ect , i'm okay with that as i often shop at Sainsburys anyway .

Depends if they have conditions on the £30 spend, if not the second game would be the full price as it would be in the £30 spend catagory i think

thats just rumours at the minute, ive just spoken to sainsburys staff and he said he cant confirm the price (I dont think he knows it) it could change as he could get a call from HO at 6pm saying sell it at this price and they're opening for 1 hour so i might get down there for say 11

Just spoken to morrisons and it will be £29.99 BUT only when you buy another chart game
  • Haven't heard anything yet about price, but I know someone who got COD6 last year in a Game store in NI (won't name to protect the staff) the evening before release. Apparently their tills are done at 5.30 - 6.00 and anything sold after that time shows up in the following days sales figures. That means no penalty for selling 'early'. He did have to banter a bit with the staff, but they agreed to let him have it at 7pm.
That's an extra 5 HOURS of play!

I suspect I'll be queueing at Asda in A'Town at midnight with everyone else.

    Is Black ops not cod6?
Got mw2 a day early last year, pre ordered on game and they delivered a day early:)

Nope. Modern Warfare 2 is the sixth Call of Duty game (not including spin-off versions for Wii, DS, PSP and other platforms), but after Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Activision stopped numbering them.
