If you collect tesco clubcard vouchers you can use them to buy yearly subsriptions to lots of magazines for £10-£15 worth of vouchers, I've bought subscriptions for my boyfriend and my brother. There are fashion, wine, food, home, history, music, transport magazines.
  • Hi

I have a 40 year old sister who likes 'fine' things - this year I am thinking of either some nice undies from M&S, or a hand carved ornament from the Willow Tree range - have you seen them? They are really classy and understated. For her birthday last month, I made a scrapbook for her, filling it with special photos etc...it went down a storm, she said it was the best gift she'd ever received and was amongst the 3 things she'd grab if her house was on fire. Do something special!:j

    Good luck :-)
    Lightbulb moment 27.07.06/Total Debt = 11054.32
1 yr on, total debt reduced by 1855.94 to 9198.38 (naughtily bought furniture on 2 yr interest free agreement you see)!

    Current Balances:
    Egg Loan - 3165.46 (6.7%) - 14 payments left:j
    M&S CC - 6286.00 (3.9% BT's/0% purchases)
    Norwich & P'Boro CC - 388.00 (14.9% as 0% expired)
Total debt at 19.08.07 = 9839.46 - Increased since last month as had to buy a car!

GOAL is to reduce total debt to £6000 by Christmas and be completely debt-free by December 2008!! :T:T:T
