The advent calendar hasn't half shot up this year!! I have just looked through my Amazon order history and got it for £14.49 last year... this year I was "lucky" to get it while it was £19.99 but it's showing at around £23 at the moment!! :eek:0

The lego atlantis on amazon at the mo is no different in price to anywhere else, no sale bargain price and don't forget places like argos or boots 342 so it can work out cheaper than buying off amazon for the one.
I would have bought the calender from amazon if it was still £14.49 like last year that seems a good price but not £10 more expensive one year later, lego.com have the same price and ebay are most certainly cashing on it:D0 -

This was never £220! It is only listed at that price because it is discontinued, it was released in 2007 and at that time according to Brickepedia it was $70 / £45. Always double check prices advertised on Amazon especially market place sellers, but even Amazon have been known to up the prices on items, especially Lego.If I bought this for my son he would not even realise it costs £220 and I FOR one would never pay that amount of money for a toy:eek:

I'm not sure they base their prices on bestsellers/ popularity or why amazon keep increasing their prices but they do and often throughout the day and week, whenever I go back onto amazon the prices have changed sometimes pennies worth and sometimes pounds but this day they have been upping the lego all day, I am fortunate or sad enough whichever one:rotfl::rotfl:to know the lego prices and would never just click to buy without comparing prices etc:DFiFi_Mad_Mum wrote: »This was never £220!
