Good news then re JanuaryBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Wow Taxi -
just checked out your sig & that is some serious weight loss lady :j Well done lovely - that must give you a great sense of achievement :A.
I didnt log in at all yesterday as I was aa bit busy. Took DD to the library after school, popped in to the co op to buy bread & eggs which cost £3.20. I've not had any of the bread at all.
Had a very dramatic day at work yesterday - purely as an observer but it was quite upsetting. It appears that quite a lot of people has wages docked this month, although all for legitimate reasons, it does rather take away the feeling of having been rewarded with a the christmas bonus. People were a bit aggrieved that they hadnt been informed of the docking prior to being given pay slips rather than the actual docking itself.
Cockney Rebel who is a contractor & therefore invoices for his services, was furious to have a few hundred knocked off his bill. He came into the office to ask for a private word with the Goblin & she just launched a full defensive mission against him, in full view & hearing of the rest of us in there . She was within a couple of decibels of actually yelling at him & it was cringeworthy. I've never seen such an unprofessional display in my life. I was furious that Gropey just sat there while she did a very good impersonation of an unhinged fishwife, but was too busy cowering behind Grumpy who was too busy trying to cower behind his in trays to actually do anything other than wince.
It transpires that Gropey did later make amends with Cockney Rebel, but I think that the Goblin sure does need to be taken down a peg or two. She's been fine with me, but clearly still needs to find an outlet for those hormonal rages.
After the delicious slow cooked sausage casserole, home-job & the tension of the day at work, I decided that it would be the ideal time to try out the full set of yoga secrets. It's just brilliant. After just an hour I could feel how much I'd stretched the tension away & slept really soundly last night. So soundly that I struggled to get up today.
I spent much of today trying to avoid any confrontations & then returned to complete the week's home-job work. Very minimal earnings again this week & not enough to cover all the funds and give me pocket money, againbut it is the last week of having to save for the PGL trip so I'm kinda excited about that, mainly as I've finished the sagins a month before the final payment is due
.
I've done the superfit workout tonight & I know all the exercise is having a really beneficial effect on my whole being as I just dont feel stressed, angry or unhealthy. I have loads of energy & can bounce up the stairs like Tigger :rotfl:
My first February NSD & expecting number 2 tomorrow.0 -

Catch ......
Not quite sure how it happened, but unless I want to condemn myself to life of water & celery I've accepted that I have to do more of these > :j I just want to feel more energetic & flexible, look more toned & be able to 'slip' into my clothes as opposed to the current 'struggle' to get in.
Work was full on today - but no drama which is a relief.
No spends at all & I've topped up the funds, but decided to leave out the laptop fund this week as last month's quidco payment will cover one week s missed payment.
I have now saved enough to cover the final PGL trip instalments - which is great.
Having lost 2 days pay & forgotten various outgoings as well, this month is going to be quite a struggle. In fact, if I am to make the regular £125 a week payments to the CC & pay this months lovefilm & mobile bill direct debit too, then I have about £5 left in the bank .
In the past I wouldnt have worried about this as the home-job would have covered the weekly food top ups required. However, this coupled with home-job earnings being down by over £100 a month, means there is nothing to fall back on.
In spite of the big Tatco shop last week, I do still need to get a few bits this week, & they are essentials such as fruit, cheese & flour. I have £30 emergency cash in my purse & about another £40 available in the childcare savings account. ( I also have about £40 in my personal spends account but that is mine, mine all mine ... unless dire emergency strikes)
I saw the window cleaner along the road so I'm sure he'll be turning up to collect his payment in the next day or so whic reduces the amoutn available by £7.
DD has a friend coming round after school tomorrow so I need to make something suitably yummy for dinner & she has been invited to a party next weekend so I need to find a gift. The party is in town on saturday & there's only a start time on the invite. No end time, no contact numbers or parents names, the child goes home with another child s parent ... (sighs) will have to pay for parking to drop off & find out when it ends.
I'm feeling a tad challenged by money matters at the moment but do recognise that I just need to get by as best I can on as little money as possible so I can achieve that DFD.
The weather forecast for the weekend is rain, rain & a bit more rain so I forsee a lot of time spent at home making use of all the forms of entertainment we already have.
The good news is that it's already less than 4 weeks until my next payday :rotfl:0
