Me too Shoesy,
I am designed for a warm climate & although I may be south of you, I'm still a fair few hundred miles north of my ideal climate ... when we're skinny & solvent we should go & open a Zapatos Shop in Spain
Right lady, have you done your workout today ???
If not, get yourself on it now please, then bath/shower & Glamour (mine arrived yesterday) before coming back here ... those 3lbs arent going to leave by themselves, you have to evict them :rotfl:0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: another one nagging me (mags has just done it on her thread) - and I so need it! (But won't be working out tonight

Well if you can hold out against me nagging you on 3 separate threads, then I guess you're not budging :rotfl:
I've done the superfit workout & will keep on with those & then start alternating between that & the weights workout next week. I also need to find time to do the wii fit more regularly as DD is really enjoying it & I want it to be something we enjoy together.
I'm categorizing the time I spend on exercise as both 'me' time & Godessing which makes me think of it as being indulgent & a beauty treatment as well as healthy.
I've clunked a gold coin into the sealed pot & had another NSD so now just need to check my bank balance & then get some sleep.
G'night

xxx2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Oh dear I'm late again.
Had a good start to the day but not waking until the alarm went off at 6.30 & managed a good 20 minutes of yoga stretches.
Work was a bit manic today but I kept my chilled persona & managed to solve 3 potential dramas too.
Had a quite a lot of home-job work to do & had not long finished when a lovely friend dropped by to exchange christmas gifts. I now have the softest & cuddliest hot water bottle which is just the best gift ever :T.
Too tired to do a superfit workout so did a bit of jogging, step class, tricep firmers & ski slalom ( on the wii ) and burnt up about 100 calories in total which I replaced with a glass of Baileys as soon as I'd finished wallowing in the bath.
No golden coins left to clunk but it was an NSD so that's good enough for me.
Really looking forward to MY day tomorrow ( as in friday) - it's been nearly 4 weeks since the last one & plan to wander up to M&S to see if I can get anything fab or useful with my gift card.
Also the day to top up the cash funds so will report back with that news.
Bye for now

You did an awful lot with your evening, Lula - have a good day today with your friendly M&S card2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Oh dear, I'm still at home.
woke up feeling absolute rubbish again - the headache & sore throat is back .
I've only ventured as far as the school so far as I wanted to make a start on the washing, go through email mountain to find surveys & get my head round the money for this month.
Good job too - I have a lot less than I thought.
2 loads of washing done, 2 surveys completed & finances revealed.
I've topped up all the cash funds :
PGL Trip = £60
DDs clubs = £65
Presents = £10
Trips/Treats = £ 20
Clothes = £10.
I've had an email from Uncle Richard to say the minimum payment this month is £28.75 & one from Vodafone showing this month's bill to be a horrendous & unprecedented £19.98  that was me going over my free minutes by chatting to DD1.
I have miscalculated the amount of cash I have left this month by a quite consequential amount. If I am to stick to my plan of paying £125 a week off the CC - which I am - then I have approximately £114 left until my next payday which is the 31st.
That would be quite challenging enough in terms of groceries & household items (loo rolls are NOT a luxury) but I also need to buy fuel out of that. I have just under half a tank & do approx 10 miles a day for work, but tomorrow DD is at the climbing centre which is 10 miles away & I doubt I'll get away with not visiting family for the rest of the month, the nearest of which is 10 miles away.
I reckon I need to fill up the car first & then [STRIKE]worry [/STRIKE] work out how best to spend what's left. I do have £11.58 worth of co op vouchers & of course I actually have plenty of money in my savings fund account + personal spends account & an overdraft.
I could also not make anything other than the minimum payment & then go & spend the remaining £340 odd on fun things ... but that's why I'm here & although I love it here & dont intend to be shifted on when I am debt free I'm sure I keep getting whiffs of debt victory ... it's really really close now & I can hardly wait to make a payment each week.
Anyway, its cold & raining outside & although I'd actually prefer to stay in & do chores  I need to buy a birthday card & post it, today. I can either walk to local shops & use my co op voucher & top up with bread at the same time, or I can go to M&S see if there are any nice snuggly cardies to be had & get the card there using my M&S voucher & fuel up at the same time ( going to nasty tatco to use my £1.50 off voucher).
Hmmmmmmmmm :think:0 -
Decided to go to M&S - BIG mistake. Not a single parking space to be found, & some idiot giant 4x4 driver had parked in the bus bay so the bus had to stop on the roundabout so no one could get in or out until idiot 4x4 had moved. Was so relieved to be getting out of there after 10 minutes sat waiting to leave that I didnt bother with fuel, just drove straight back to the co op.
Cant believe that people are still in a shopping frenzy but apparently so.
Back in the safety of local co op I got the card & as all the fruit & veg in there was half price, decided to get some of that as well as the bread I got all the other bits we need for the week ahead. Used all of my vouchers & had to pay an extra £1.30 on top but that's quite a result.
I also got a £2 off a £20 spend voucher which lasts until next friday, so I will make sure I do the week's shopping there next week.
Annoying about the fuel as I will now have to go after work one day next week & I still have a boot full of recycling as I couldnt do that yesterday as the road there floods. Recycling & fuel in opposite directions & I like my car journeys to all tie in together.
Right, I've had some soup for lunch & the sun is now shining so I'll quickly write out the card & then run to the post box then get some hoovering done.
Bye for now

Thats going to be tight! But good for you, for going for it. Thinking about cards, tho - what do you think about making your own, as they're the expensive ones? If not, I'm wondering how much that card cost .... I buy them (new) from charity shops now - Dr Barnardo's do some really nice ones for 70p, and even "expensive" Oxfam do £1.50 a go ....
Vouchers and till spit are very good news tho!
Take care of yourself - that lurgy doesn't want to leave you2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi hun,
Sorry to hear that you are still suffering with the lurgy and I hope that you are taking it easy and looking after yourself?
Bah to the fuel fiasco but well done on the voucher and other bits.
Yikes to the mix up on the finances side of things, something I tend to do quite regularly and then wonder what happened at the end of the month lol knowing you though, you'll be fine, I have every ounce of faith in you
(((BIG HUGS)))
