I know what you mean, thought the site was for saving money.
Of course, when stuff is bought ultra discounted then if it's decent branded and well reviewed then it's likely that we will lose little if anything when we come to resell via ebay, or similar. For example, the earlier, discontinued model of this camera, the FZ2, just sold on ebay for £226 + P&P new.
While it's difficult to make money, by being a Smart Buyer it's possible to stay well equipped and current for very little money. Depreciation is something that many people don't consider when buying so called 'bargains'. For example, I'm about to sell my TomTom/IPAQ 4150 SAT NAV as I'm getting the smart phone version and I reckon I will lose only maybe £10-20 over what I paid by tough shopping around, judging by ebay buying trends ;-)0 -
Hi condyk,
(Do you cheat lesbians, BTW?)
Two days ago I was watching a prog (The gadget show, I think) and they slated the Mobile phone Sat Nav and the Tom Tom came out a better system Though still with it's failings.
Not up to the standard of the built in systems mind, but I just thought I'd mention this.
You seem the type to research your purchases well prior to purchase so you probably know better but I just thought I'd mention it.

Condyk is half of my surname and half ex-wife's. Have used it for years as a login name ... but not for my bank account ;-) I don't con people, lesbians included :-) Enjoy your FZ3 ...
I saw that programme to. Terrible piece of TV. What a joker. He'd never even read the instructions of any of the products by the look of it. I remember the built in system (Nissan I think) came last and the TomTom was best tho'.
Don't remember the Mobile version being reviewed! The respected Smartphone and GPS specialist web sites rate the TomTom Mobile. Main problem I see is lack of keyboard and no touch sensitive screen. I'm going to assess the Smartphone usability first, should be here middle of the week, and then decide if I should sell the PDA version.0 -
Thanks condyk. Just treated myself to a late Christmas present.
Hope there's enough stock.0 -
