there may be a small glimer of hope as both BBC and GMTV websites are reporting on the Trade and Industry Minister meeting with the British Retailer Consortium to secure some kind of good will gesture for those of us affected0

From what I made out at lunch time when i heard him speak, Its going to be for the ones that are worst off. But how they will work that out beats me. But thats only what I could make out when i heard him talking,0 -
I don't think that Findal really thought this through, they should have bought Farepak as well, even at a loss, as quite possibly they have made a big mistake by buying Home Farm and not taking on Farepak as customer confidence will plummet and will surely effect Home Farm sales figures (and other hamper companies) over the next year
only my view but seems like they have shot themselves in the foot.
Sorry this is not going to help anyone but if i had lost money with them I certainly would not be wishing the industry well! Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.
Jan grocery challenge £35.77/£1200 -
Do we think it may be an idea to put up a standard letter when e-mailing / posting complaints about farepak to MP's ???
For example what type of communication did you send this MP - Was it your personal situation or just a general communication at your dissapointment in Farepak Fiasco ?
Me, and the kids have all been affected by this nightmare and I really don't know where to turn with this blow ?
Just when I thought I had a debt free christmas sussed Farepak have blown me and my 5 kids world apart0 -
They have been talking about this again on gmtv, it's going to help more if kept in the media's eyes. I still feel sickened when think about it and wish I wasn't an agent this year.
Here's hoping we get the help we need now.Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300 -

I and one of my customers have contacted all our local Mp's and have some sort of response from them all,
Surely the big losers in all this mess are the children ,I expect he majority of Farepak customers are families with young children (most of the people I know are)Or Grannies and Grandad saving to buy presents for their granchildren. So it will be the children who suffer come chistmas morning.
So please contact anyone you can who will keep this in the public eye ,before it becomes yesterdays news !!!!
If we all unite something will have to be done they can't and won't shut us up.
Hopefully if we continue fighting we might just win and hopefully stop this from happening to anyone else. "All for one and one for all"0 -
Just heard that a local Swindon radio station (GWR) is making collections of pressies and cash for those affected by this. Don't know any more than that....but its good to hear that there are some kind hearted people out there.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.

I wouldn't be able to take anything from anyone, I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I'm thinking that if the public helps out out then it will take away the pressure from those responsible and they will get away with it fully.
All I want is the vouchers I paid for or the money back, I don't see why innocent people should have to pay for what this company has done to us all.~ What's for you, won't go past you! ~0 -

I think that people should refuse to place orders with findel and write to them telling them why, as If it can happen once it can again.:A :j0
