  • I am lucky in as the customers I had did not hold me at fault in any way. I now people are upset and angry at the way things have turned out, but please do not turn on your agent, this person was only the go between for you and the company.
Isnt there enough upset without the agent having to feel more guilt with what has happened to everyone including themselves.

    Part of the Furniture
We contacted the individual companies (e.g. M&S, Debenhams) and they told us that Farepak have placed no orders with them this year for vouchers. So they had no intention of fulfilling orders, and while the companies were sympathetic nothing they can do..........
If that is the case then surely this is fraud, is someone going to take note of this..?...
I would gladly give a donation if something was set up and I'm sure many others would.....but it would have to be soon whilst people are angry....I don't mean that to sound awful but that's the way these things work if your not directly involved....
  • By the way, it mentions on an earlier posting that it may be possible to claim back payments made by debit card. Does anyone know if this is right?

I know, luckily a lot of us are family so it isnt so bad , we all understand its not her fault, but she also has a lot of pensioner friends who although dont have so much tied up is of more value to them being on a penision - gutted for them to be honest

I am in the same boat as her, i paid the money in good faith monthly, the cheques were made out to post office counters ltd, i paid the money in monthly on thier behalf, yet now people are talking about small claims courts etc, there was never ever any indication that they were going to just take the money, I can t see why they have not frozen the rest of the assests, after all they have promised to do this in the cases of drug dealers etc, this is planned fraud!!! and aimed at the lower end of the scale ie the poorer people, does that mean that we dont matter?

I answered this question on another thread. I really don't think its something that can be done practically to reach the people that really need it given that they are spread throughout the country. I have read somewhere, I think on this thread, that local areas are attempting to do something for the kids for Christmas via their local papers and shops. Perhaps you might be able to find something local to you that you could help.
