A few years back,i picked up a young guy and he was going to diff houses(7 mins max each)(drugs maybe)

It turned out his uncle had left him the properties in his will,he was collecting money from tenants who paid weekly, thats all he did,5 days a week was free time.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
    Afternoon Peeps,

Long (long, long) time no speak - that's shocking! Can't believe another seven months have rolled by without any sort of mindless drivel being spouted on here...

Hope everyone (or at least everyone who is left) is still well on course for their own plans and dreams. We've kind of gone our own way in the last wee while and now is the time to get back on track - the first part of that will be to decide what we want to do next.

I'm in the final stages of wrapping up and liquidating my Company. It was a rollercoaster couple of years with some good, many bad and not a lot of other moments inbetween. The short summation of a very long story is that it was ultimately successful, stressful and beneficial to a lot of people. On the money side, having invested just over £90,000 in the business to get it going and keep it going (we've now got that back!), I should, after all the relevant taxes and such are paid, come away with something approaching £300,000 when all is said and done at the end of September. That seems like a lot of money but if you were to ask me if I'd do it again for the same reward, I genuinely wouldn't hesitate to run away as fast as I could - probably screaming bloody murder all the while!

So, next up...I've still no idea. I need to really sit and force myself to think about it. I'm going to write my book - my experience of finding the site and the decisions I and we made to get mortgage free and the right and wrong calls we've made since - plenty of both - and I'm going to take a few months to relax and get back in shape as I've also managed to add a stone in weight during the last 18 months. The first thing that keeps coming to mind though is setting up a not for profit or a charity which concentrates on moneysaving - then becoming a roving ambassador with the sole intention of helping folk. How it could be made to be sustainable or whether it could marry up with any sort of sponsorship without creating a conflict of interest is something to consider but our story has motivated a lot of friends and family and that feels great - if I can take that to a bigger audience, I certainly will - no doubt much more to come on that front.

However, in the meantime, I'm back!

    Cheers so,

    Billy & Moyra
