Just checking in - finding it really hard to not buy ***stuff***

So many offers yet I already have so much stuff in particular make up. When I think my mum had just one small make up bag with one blusher/rouge - I feel ashamed at how much make up I have.

Don't get me wrong I do NEED certain things like skincare bits soon as I have really begun to get on top of that buying frenzy but I am finding it really hard not to get carried away with all the offers. Aaaaarrrggghh!

Time to step away from t'internet I think!

Same here, though I am much better the last few months!!! :) eBaying helps, when you're getting rid of stuff it seems ridiculous to buy more to take its place... and I do love seeing my Paypal balance increasing! Also, spending lunchtime queuing at the post office keeps me out of the shops lol!

Mum is getting me the P&P set for Christmas! :T She just gave me the £45 and I gave her the set and one GWP to wrap up, felt bad as I'd paid with points but it is going into the house deposit fund so I won't be squandering it. DB might get me another one. Although I really want this for Christmas http://www.peacocks.co.uk/product/index.jsp?productId=4467531&prodFindSrc=paramNav ... have a couple of weddings coming up next year and it is FAB. 20% off today as well so it's £40 plus free del yay!!!!

OOOH just found a matching bag for £4: http://www.peacocks.co.uk/product/index.jsp?productId=4406771&orderSourceCode=0

  • Ohh that is a gorgeous dress tara!

I have some ins to report, just cotton buds and cotton wool pads, 3 of each. I'm glad I managed to avoid buying anything else in boots and paid with points too so feeling very angelic.

I gifted (well, my friend asked me for it and who was I to say no :rotfl: ) a red 0riflame lipstick last night. I loved the shade but it was that kind of red that made me slightly conscious of having yellow teeth IYSWIM and was a product to test so nothing lost by it's rehoming!

Have a good night ladies x

Have used up a bottle of Nivea Visage cleanser. It was good, albeit the wrong type for my skin. I definitely would buy it again (the right type this time, of course)!

Oh, also used up a Lacuna night cream. And a toothpaste. And am about to give a Body Shop passionfruit body scrub and body butter away as a present.

Oh, and also used up a Garnier face cream. It only cost about 3 squids, and it was good for the price. Would use again.

  • A couple of ins to report but they are more cheer me up pressies as last week I had a rotten cold and sinusitus then on thursday my car packed up! So went to Boots on Saturday and decided to treat myself to the No7 glitter mascara as I have my xmas do on Thursday then thought I might as well get some cleanser and exfoliant to hit the £22 to get the GWP! It did make me feel a little better. I have had a quick go with the mascara and am still deciding if I like it or not - has anyone got it?!

I got some argan oil in Morocco, never used it though, any tips ladies??

Perhaps you could use it in your hair (in TINY quantities, not half the bottle). I expect it is very similar to Orifluido/Moroccan oil hair products. I have the Ouifluido and it really does help my long hair blowdry faster. Apparently the oil repels water making the hair dry faster.

Or you could use it on your face as a serum or moisturiser, maybe better at night as it might be a bit greasy to put make-up on top of it. Lots of expensive creams have argen oil as an ingredient.

Me too, this is the worst time of year though with the Christmas sets. I don't buy much anymore and I think the luxury cosmetics might have to stop completely for me in the new year because of less money/higher taxes due to the Irish economy issues.

morning all, was doing xmas shopping at the weekend and I too found it very difficult to not get some of the sets and offers, theer are some really good offers on at the minute. I MUST RESIST!!

UU: Clynol dream leav-in conditioner - WIBA? Yes, it is very very good and not heavy at all. Am now onto my last leave in conditioner in my stash!!

have finally hit the last in my stash on a few bits, but still have masses to get through. Am going to double check my xmas list at the weekend and see what I could give as gifts or stocking fillers. Might also ebay a few bits of makeup TBH - really need to sort out, declutter and get some more cash in!!
