ball tonight so need to do nails BUT nearly pulled 1 out a few weeks ago at the pool and it is still veyr short and low down on nail bed ,then yesterday I broke another pushing door open so think will have to go for a pale colour so they don't show up too much:(
Have a lovely time! When my nails are more famer's wife than corporate wife I just clear gloss them for events and wear less bling on my hands0 -
EssexHebridean wrote: »Do you have an Avon rep locally that you know? If so, see if you can get their Dry Skin SOS hand cream. I know it's not been available for the last few campaigns but is back in Campaign 1 which is either the current, or the next book, depending on what mailplan your local people are on. It's £3.50, but is truly the most effective handcream I have used - when I had skin on my fingers which was so dry it was cracking last winter that sorted it out in just a couple of overnight applications, and so far this winter with occasional uses my hands have stayed fine. I just use a regular handcream in between times and use that a couple of times through the week, before bed.
TBH I'm not using any hand cream, I have some really good ones I'm just...not using them. I'm vowing to get them out though and start using them!0 -

I have never found a really good whitening toothpaste, if anyone knows of one let me know as I love to have mine as white looking as poss.lostinrates wrote: »I like having four nights a week to myself, but sometimes I really miss mine.
I UU the radox bubble bath I bought only recently. I'm chugging through bubble bath because its the nearest to luxury I get atm.
Feeling a bit low about it all, I need to get in the rhythm of the thread, my toenails have chipping dark nail varnish on them and y hands are really rough and nasty, especially one index finger, its shockingly bad.
we live quite near a spa and I swear to goodness I've thought about blowing my ''housekeeping'' money on a half day there rather than groceries and housekeeping, but I'm just too good.
I have all that stuff upstairs (just one box of extras now though) and never make time to use it and I feel rough....I've got into a bit of a routine of having an early evening bath, but feel uninspired to do more.
have to make a start I WILL atleast get this nail varnish off this weekend and try to deal with hard skin on feet. the rough skin on my finger too, then bring a pot of hand cream downstairs and start to use it again.:o
Awwwwww poor you, there we all are moaning about our OHs and you are so nice about yours!
Pamper yourself girl! All that time to yourself, you should so be making the most of it. I'm telling you off now, promise me you'll do some pampering this week!footymadgal wrote: »I've had to buy dental floss this week. I've also chucked out a Maybelline XXL Volume Length Mascara. I started to use this some time ago and didn't like it and so put it on one side. As I've recently had two UU's of mascara, I thought I would start to use this again rather than opening a new one but in the meantime it seems to have dried up. What a complete waste of money that turned out to be!

noynoy - yay! Enjoy your night off, you deserve it!
rosemary54 - have a great time at the ball (sigh).
I have a confession to make... after being sooo good and buying no OOTWs at all, I succumbed to the £45 P&P Intense set http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Protect-Perfect-Intense-Collection_1144024/?cm_re=c9094_rot1-_-offer-_-offer_of_the_week_no8&cm_sp=homepage-_-c9094-_-c9094_rot1. In my defence, I am running a little low on day creams and am going to eBay the body serum (rrp £26.50, !!!!!!!).
I also got TWO GWPs with it (God bless the SS tills) http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Black-Christmas-Evening-Bag_1144022/ and will eBay both of them, as I alreday have one from the No7 mirror compact glitch a few weeks ago (£11 for 3 of these http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Compact-Mirror-Pouch_1115177/ plus a GWP!). AND I paid with points so spent nada!!!!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

DD has also finished a regular Head & Shoulders shampoo and abandoned a nearly-full colour-care Head and Shoulders shampoo and conditioner, which , curiously, makes her hair greasy really quickly. Oh pooh, I really don't want to use that up!
How about using it to wash your make up brushes or clean/wash out the sink /bath?
Used up:
Elemis frangi(SP?) shower cream - wiba? For smell yes, for price no. So it's a no. Plus I've found I could buy x 4 champneys ones for the same price or about 8 Radox ones. After all it's only shower gel. May get ones of those shower ball/washy things one poster said about (as Claudia Winkleman says, my brain is porridge).Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Mineallmine, I might try it first and see what it's like or use it a couple of times a week and another inbetween. I only use a tiny bit as I wash my hair every night. Bit worried about the colour being stripped with H&S yet this one is Colour Care...confusing and I never have dandruff either but I do hate waste!
Bought the Clarins eye cream yesterday, but did manage to secure some freebie foundations samples too :T0 -
I have splurged a little bit! I have bought conditioner, some shine shock and a touche eclat. I needed it all honest guvnor! :rotfl:Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0

WIBA: yes, it's a staple for me0 -
Woo hoo!
Feeling very virtuous this evening as I've been in both Superdrug and Boots today and came out of both shops without purchasing anything :j
I've a couple of UU's to report - they're both Olay sample - the 3 point serum and also Olay total effects moisturizer. I was surprised how long those little tubes lasted, but didn't really suit my skin and I wouldn't pay full price for them.Save money on toiletries: no new/duplicate items until I've used up all existing supplies
