No UU at the moment, but on the theme of Aussie 3 minute miracle, I've got this and think they must have changed the formula, it doesn't seem to be as nourishing as before?! That might be because I've been trying my Tigi set out and I am completely converted - my hair looks like it's from an advertisment now, shiny smooth and gorgeous! I'm alternating though to use up the ends and dregs in the bathroom so sorted out an Andrew Collinge shampoo (2 more to go and 3 matching conditioners  ) that I got free with a magazine subscription to go with my 3 min miracle as I think there can't be much more left in there - about 3 or 4 applications. I always use more conditioner than shampoo so when that is finished i'll fish out the matching conditioner for the AC shampoo IYSWIM.
I have some dregs (1 bath) of Radox which will be used up tonight or tomorrow so can count that as a UU, WIBA Yes its pleasant, and surprisingly it contained lavender, but I couldn't smell it and it didn't give me any of the usual side effects I get with lavender so I might consider buying this variety in future!
I've also bitten the bullet and dragged out my S&G Jam Sessions body wash, half a bottle left of this as I do not like the smell one little bit! It must have been sitting there for 2 years now easily so I will be using that up just to say good riddance to the bottle! I think that this is why I haven't really bought into the whole S&G hype as I was so put off by this one!
The Boots 17 face powder I began using yesterday should be UU this month (hopefully). Still putting on a full face of make up every day (including eyeshadows in 'muted' bright colours - muted by going over them with lighter shades such as gold or cream) and when I went to apply this this morning, I can start to see the outline of the lines of the pan pushing through the powder this morning so I must have used it quite a bit previously before it got abandoned. My make up stash is steadily getting worked through with results coming slowly but surely! :T
I think I have 2 mascaras on their way out this weekend, becoming slightly hard to apply in the morning, and don't feel as liquidy - I though at first it was just a change in the weather where being warm they were a bit more fluid but I think they are biting the dust this weekend.
Hmm enough of my ramblings I think I've just about summed everything up!
Have a good day ladies, if I think of anything else don't worry I won't hesitate in letting you know :rotfl:

Don't forget you could swap one of these for a Clinique sample mascara in Boots, if the offer is still on?0 -

There is a bonus time on in Harrods, with only one thing in it that I wouldn't use - a lipstick. But I'm sure I can find a friend to donate that to
I've never actually been to Harrods yet either, despite living in London for over 4 years! Good excuse for a wander down I think...Then I feel you must go forth and purchasify Fixx! Well done chick! :T
I'm here for a confession. One of my friends has been made redundant - well actually lots of people we know have been made redundant - but anyway this particular one asked me if I'd like to buy her Bobbi Brown eye shadow collection because she needs the money to pay her mortgage more than she needs eye shadow right now.
I've said I will - both to help her out and for selfish eye shadow collecting reasons.I went round to hers and helped her work out a capsule collection of stuff she actually needs and make a list of everything else. (We both cried.
)
Thanks!
So sorry about your friend, and that's really nice that you're helping her out, and getting some lovely stuff yourself into the bargain - a totally justified spend!roshydoshy wrote: »No UU at the moment, but on the theme of Aussie 3 minute miracle, I've got this and think they must have changed the formula, it doesn't seem to be as nourishing as before?! Is that the Rockstar set? I got that too in the sale, but haven't opened it yet - only one bottle of shampoo between me and that lovely new shampoo, and I'm so excited... I love TIGI stuff, best I've found for my hair!
I've been having a nosy on grabbit this morning (I know, very naughty, but looking out for good deals for xmas pressies) and I saw the superdrug offer on the John Frieda hair dye - and it's been so hard to resist! The thing is, I got a free one to try, and while it was fine, I didn't think it was any better than any other brand you can get in the £4-5 range. So buying it for £6.66 isn't that great a deal for me, but I'm suckered in by the free travel set - made up of shampoo and conditioner that I've tried and tested and know I don't really like! Help, why do I want this set?! it's a complete and utter waste of money for me:rotfl:

yepas soon as it popped up on grabbit (you can tell i've been busy at work :rotfl: ) i looked in my saved basket and seen that and bought it! I wish I bought more now it's glorious. My hairs long and in fairly good condition (been told by hairdressers it is great for the length especially as it's been every colour in the past couple of years) but i honestly have never seen it so nice, and so easy to handle! I am a complete convert - not very MSE of me but definitely found my HG now - i wonder if the other varieties are as nice!

Perhaps on the plus side Jacks, at least she has these investment buys to use to tide her over in these difficult times?
Scary times!
Scary indeed. My stash definitely carried me through about nine months of unemployment last year without the need for many "ins".
We're having our girlie swap night a bit earlier this month (tonight) so that we can all get her the cold hard cash as soon as possible because her £900 a month mortgage is due again soon. Even when she eventually gets some benefits a few weeks from now it's only going to be about £200 a month and her outgoings are about seven times that amount.
When I was round there the other night helping her work out the core beauty items she needed to keep I made another sneaky list of the beauty basics she's getting low on so we've all clubbed together to make her up a basket of the kind of bits and bobs that we all need - mostly from our stashes - but there were a few things I had to go and buy. We can't really help her with most of her worries, but making sure she doesn't run out of beauty essentials - that we can do!
I've also told her that whatever of her beauty stash that ends up at my house she can come round and use whenever she wants. She won't, in practice, but I think she feels happier having her stuff sort of "within reach" rather than sold to a stranger on eBay.
Since I'm the only other Jemma Kidd fan she knows I've said I'll take all that stuff as well.
Ooh my goodness-sorry for another long one. I'll add the lo-o-o-o-ng list of incomings tomorrow.
And maybe take some pictures.
Is there any part of my 'normous stash that people would be most keen to see?Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

It must feel so much nicer to have such lovely makeup go to someone you know rather than a stranger - especially someone you know will appreciate it.
I'd love to see your eye-makeup collection!0 -

I've got the Dumb Blonde tween before - which isn't just for blondes, but for all coloured hair really. The shampoo is the best I've tried so far, but I'm still holding out for something better, no idea why (fingers crossed for Rockstar:)) but the conditioner (Reconstructor) from that set is my HG product - amazing.
I haven't tried the moisture maniac set, but heard really good things about it - I'm so tempted, but know I generally do better with protein ranges rather than moisturising, so I don't know how well it would suit me... If it's ever on sale for £5 I might have to risk it0 -
Two out today :
- mac mineral light powder - dumped as made my skin really dry and uncomfortable
No 7 exceptional definition mascara - given to mum - I had two of these and am currently using one but really don't like it.0 -
Used up lots of trial size samples over the last few days shampoos and body lotions nothing special. Yesterday i received 3 face serums and a face cream all full size to test and today a John Frieda gift set fromthe Freebies board. so the stash is growing again.0
