3 minute miracle aussie wiba? not sure i used to love this but i think my hair has matured over the years and it didnt seem to do anything!

Interesting I am experiencing the same. I have some left but have managed shiny and light hair without for months now and the bottle is on my in use list. When told I usually say that like a dog with a shiny coat it is all down to being well fed and I actually wonder if there is any truth in this. :rotfl:... yes i am under an exercise routine to shed a few kilos since :o

You're right, of course, thanks for the reminder :)

I think I'll keep it away from my neck too, but I do have quite a few friends who would likely be happy to take it off my hands I'm sure.

Does this mean I'm allowed to go shopping for my lovely Clinique moisturiser that never ever irritates my skin and that I love muchly?:rotfl:

I do actually need to buy this very soon - I've got a few sachets to use (rather lovely Green People stuff) and then I am actually out of moisturiser I believe
Yep sure does! Perhaps see if there are any bonus times out there to make the most of your purchase? You can always give away the free gift to a friend or something if you want to avoid adding to your stash.

    Use ups:-
I finally said goodbye to the Elemis Visible Brilliance Serum - WIBA nope. AT £40 definitely not, at £4 not. Really didn't notice any difference. And at that price you can buy Chanel Serums and stuff.

Used up - a sample of Clarins oil free moisturisers - WIBA dont know - there was no sample in the box!

Thanks for the experiences/reviews of Keratase. Thinking about it they are part of the L'Oreal group and I have found in the last few years that my hair doesn't get on with their stuff, Cheryl or not.

Finally any good recommendations for a nail friendly (acetone free) nail polish remover? My Cutex one is about to run out - it's good but it has a really overpowering smell.

  • Peeps may have noticed on the grabbit (or freebie?) board that there will be a £5 off Body Shop voucher in Saturday's Telegraph. We have the Telegraph on a Saturday anyway and so I'm planning to use it. I will try to get something as near as dammit to £5 though!

Wow Jacks, you have got the most enviable list of stuff I have ever seen.

Thank you honeybun! I know I should hang my head in shame but I love my stuff! :D:p
I dread to think how much that lot cost you.

When I feel out of control purchase -wise I sometimes make myself add it up until the size of the total I want to cry. :o:eek:
I was active on this challenge at the beginning of the year and I did post some photos of my stash. I am using up stuff very slowly and I have been distracted by other things so I have not posted my uu. I really must try and post another photo of my stash. I would love to see a photo of all your stuff. What do you reckon?

Oh blimey. That does sound like a full days work! That's how long it took me to list it all in a notebook at first then god knows how long to type it all in - but maybe on my next day off. :D:o

Then I feel you must go forth and purchasify Fixx! Well done chick! :T

I'm here for a confession. :o One of my friends has been made redundant - well actually lots of people we know have been made redundant - but anyway this particular one asked me if I'd like to buy her Bobbi Brown eye shadow collection because she needs the money to pay her mortgage more than she needs eye shadow right now.

I've said I will - both to help her out and for selfish eye shadow collecting reasons. :o I went round to hers and helped her work out a capsule collection of stuff she actually needs and make a list of everything else. (We both cried. :()

She sent out an email listing the rest of the make up she's got and asking for offers.

What none of us want she'll put on eBay. She's doing the same with her clothes, bags and accessories too.

She keeps joking and saying when she gets moved to a tent city outside Reading or Aldershot she won't be able to take it all with her anyway.

Oh god, sorry for the downer. :o

Perhaps on the plus side Jacks, at least she has these investment buys to use to tide her over in these difficult times?
It must be an awful thing to be made redundant. I've not had that risk but DH was given a letter giving him 4 weeks notice 3 weeks before we married. We had just signed contracts to buy our flat and just found out that I was pregnant with DD. We thought we were going to have to cancel the wedding and lose the deposits but when he got back into work after the weekend, his boss pulled him aside and said that he'd managed to borrow enough money to keep going so he was keeping DH on. I think for a while there were only DH, the boss and an admin girl there. Scary times!

    Anyhoo, back on topic....
I have a UU- well, chuck out really. A next lipgloss. It was like PVA glue and sticking my lips together so I have chucked it out. WIBA? Nope, I really don't like lip gloss. I'm much more a lippy with vaseline or lip balm type of girl if I want the shine. Often, I prefer matte.
Managed to put a full face on again for work tonight so I will UU some make up!

Quick Q..... What do you lot do when you get to the small end bit of circular make ups? I use One step face base from Virgin Vie and I have a 0.5 cm diameter around the edge of my compact left. It is really difficult to get out now and spread evenly but I'm loathe to throw it away when it costs so much.
    Catch you later xx

My UU yesterday was similar to this, probably abbout 0.25cm around the edge of the compact. I'd been rubbing the sponge around this bit for the last couple of days and yesterday it just failed to yield anything! My L*0real compact was 1) a freebie and 2)cheaper than the virgin vie one so I wasn't probably focusing on making the most of the end bit, and excited that I was having a UU!

I would recommend rubbing the applicator around the edge to try and pick up as much as you can, you might get a couple of days more application from the compact - or perhaps use a foundation brush?

    HTH :) x

    2 UU to report
    - Radox Nourish bath Therapy 500ml. WIBA Yes if price is £1 or less (I refuse to pay more than £1 for bubble bath. OH likes bath so need to have it so I bulk buy on special offers)
    - Dior R60/80 Nuit 2ml - WIBA No - Sample and have 2 left. The applicator had a life of its own and jumped every-everywhere (face clothes hair) so in reality must have only salvage 1ml out of the 2 ml content. Don't like the texture at all and think quite pricey as well. For night face I love 8 hour cream which works really well for me so I'll keep using this until they are all gone.

    Have a great week end

Morning all - I'm a little late but can I join?

I joined you all for September and October but to be honest things have just been that crazy that I haven't had a chance to get on here!

I must confess that at the start of the month I did have a number of Inns. All serious bargins though and stuff I will use so I don't feel too bad!

UU: Sanctuary body wash - WIBA? only if it was on offer. Don't get me wrong it does the job but for the price nothing amazing!

Away with work next week so will pack a few minis/stuff near its end and hopefully not bring them back!!

I have been getting quite a few emails recently that look like they are from companies like Body shop offering a prize draw of £500 but when you click through after filling in details it turns out to be one of thoses where you keep having to tick to get/refuse catalogues etc:mad::mad::mad: be warned
also had an email from BS today telling me about cranberry, mmmmmm and jolly orange stuff with a freee orange body butter(full size cost £12.50) with £25 sales:):):):):):) am i bad to even consider it??????(given that I already have 3 BS butters plus lots of other stuff in my stash!)

When it was delivered, I discovered my "Avon lady" was about 9, delivering with her dad. It was so sweet I felt it would be rude not to order this month. So a night cream, eye cream and cleanser for under a tenner. Bargain, really, and I'm helping a budding entrepreneur.

That is so cute. Annoying though when you feel obliged to order to be nice to people.

@noynoy asked about grey nail polish (before making her own:p) but if anybody wants to purchase grey/silver nail polish No7 Night Silver is lovely. Get it when there's a £5 voucher obviously.

    Welcome back @salesaddict :)
