Macpep how scarey for you x

Xraph good luck to you both

Downstairs all tidied, hoovered and mopped so feel better for that.

Going to do 15 minutes sorting whilst the floor dries and then I'll see if the bread is ready for the AGA

Thanks all. I'm in, decided to go with the list and just spent 45 minutes clearing the kitchen floor. Ashamed to say a carrier bag of rubbish later (and many things to rehome) it's now cleared and vacuumed ready for mopping ..... I'll get to use that mop I bought when we moved in then :o which I shall do after this cuppa

DP doing his homework late again (goes at 3pm to college!) he's worse than the kids!

Raph great news, best of luck!

Fedup is there snow forecast? Hope not

Sparkleworld with the washer if it's ok now I'd continue to use it, could have just been an overload or similar. I never leave washers or tumble driers unattended after the fire service told me it was a large cause of house fires.....I think mudders had a fire caused by a washer too? Might have been another flylady

Oh I also cleaned the turtle tank out, they're in the garden getting some sunshine they need as not managed to find a suitable bulb yet so they need about 5 hours per week outside ,which I must remember before letting the dog out who is obsessed with them
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

I might go and hang out on the os allotment thread to see if I can get some tips.

What a coincidence! I was part way through my HHC with hollyh when I had a telephone call.

I put my name down for an allotment almost 2 years ago, and the call was to say that an elderly man was giving his up due to ill health and was I interested.
Of course I jumped at the chance and arranged to meet the parish councillor at the site straight away.
Well I've only just got back!!:eek::eek:Shell-shocked, excited, terrified at the amount of work to do. I think he has been ill for quite some time as the whole site is a mass of weeds etc. OMG:eek::eek::eek:

So I'll definately be joining you on the allotment thread - when I have time to find it:rotfl::rotfl:

macpep1 that's dreadful, I should think the headteacher did text you to apologise, I think a phone call would have been a little more personal imho
Toots hope your week goes well

    Afternoon all
I have had a parcel today from my catalogue with nice new shoes x2 a new top and a new dress which is gorgeous (all for work) but I am not at work so I can't wear them yet!! Will look forward to when I can wear them :)

Nice bright sunny day here, not been up very long but MUST actually do something about my list...I am a lazy moo who lacks all motivation!!!!!

Will start by having a shower I think then....
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

macpep1 what a panic, thank goodness it's just a mistake.
x_raphael_xx thats fantastic news, hope it goes well.
    Pigpen what lovely pics.

All running about done, hubby to dentist, card lifted for MIL, some of food shop done, DS2's glasses lifted.

Hubby has the fire lit as it's really cold here plus none stop rain. Lunch on for us and boys, DD away shopping with my mum for her birthday next week. Plan is lunch and then start the list. :D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • I'm in!

Today is supposed to be a rare day off for me - my school has a training day and DD2 and DS are at school/college...

Sadly DD1 has an ear infection and I have spent all morning getting her in at the docs/taking her to the docs/going to the chemists!

    I got breakfast at 11am!

Going to see if I can dig out the pit (otherwise known as the dining room!)
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
