    Hi all
I'm in again this week. I realised that there aren't that many weeks until the jolly fat man visits and we've got company on Christmas day (MIL and BIL), so I don't particularly want to leave it until the last minute!

Anyway, thanks to the usual suspects for keeping things going, and sending hugs and spoons to anyone who needs one...

    Here's the list for today:

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Sweep [/STRIKE]and mop the floor
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Wipe fronts of appliances and units[/STRIKE]
get everything out of the fridge and give a really good scrubbing
[STRIKE]Wipe table and replace cloth if needed[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe window sills[/STRIKE]
    Clean the oven and
    [STRIKE]hob.[/STRIKE].
[STRIKE]Get out all the medical supplies and medicines and fling the old stuff (it can be left at the pharmacy for safe disposal).. Replace anything used up.[/STRIKE]
Extras [STRIKE]Sock pairing... fling all those without brothers!
    [/STRIKE]
    1. Wipe tiles/grotty marks from walls
    2. [STRIKE]wash window sills[/STRIKE]
    3. Thoroughly clean out the cupboard with pet food OR under the sink!
I've also filled some holes ready for new curtain poles, shampooed the rug and hung that up to dry on the bannister, 2 x WM and that's hanging out to dry now.

I've got to boy to wake up now or else he won't sleep tonight, and then I'll crack on with HHI and then dinner.

Hoping to get the running machine out tonight - haven't done any for at least 6 weeks :o.

    Anyway, take care all

    Hiya. I've just read the thread and had loads to mention/reply to but think I've forgotton most of it! Here goes;

Macpep - scary!!! Hope you've calmed down now xx
Jjef - welcome back, hope exams etc went well xx
Tootles - hope all is well in tootleland xx
LL - love, hugs and dust as always xx
Piggers - gorgeous pictures....absolutely yummy xx
Msgnomey - hope you're continuing to recover well xx
Shysarah - hope today goes ok xx

Had loads more to say but my minds gone blank!!

I'm going to do the list now. The house looks like a bombs hit it but I think it's mostly superficial. I've also got a million loads of washing as children and hubby are back from staying at grand parents at everything they took up STINKS of smoke! Yuck!

Stripes went for her check up. We have to keep extending what we let her do to see what she's going to be capable of. Sadly, they'll be no more flying round the park with other dogs anymore. Shame but at least she can start to go off lead when no other dogs are around.

Right, off to do my list xx
  • Mollina I have an allotment I'm in my 3rd year now and its fab!
The first book I ever bought and was recommended to buy was The Dr Hessayon Grow your own Veg. To save you lobbing out loads on books -cos there are loads have a look at your local library first to see which ones you get along with

Don't be scared of the weeds- I don't know anyone who inherits a "going" allotment.
On the plus side if you clear a small patch now you can plant some onion sets garlic, broad beans, (great for putting nitrogen back into the soil) and some spring cabbage. Dont feel you have to do all of these but its good for the soul to put something back in whilst your busy ripping everything else out.
Any questions I'll do my best to help out.

    Love 'n' Rainbows

I'll be pacing myself very carefully again this week, as I had another little turn where the overwhelming tiredness hit me very, very suddenly yesterday. I'm so glad of the Fred, as it does stop me trying to do the entire bungalow all in one hit.:o Thanks, guys'n'gals for being my friends and for the inspiration for keeping the bungalow clean and reasonably tidy.:A

    Hello everyone,

I'm in but it may be a delayed start to the week! I came down with a cold on Friday (just a cold - not man flu :D). Spent Friday and Saturday doing very little, then yesterday as I felt fantastic, I went to Mr T with DH (mistake), the local market, cooked a massive roast dinner, changed the bed etc..... It all went downhill when i went to bed late cos I had to wait up for DH who had gone out and forgotten his key.
Phoned in sick today and still feel absolutely rubbish. Haven't even tidied the kitchen from breakfast yet

Haven't got any energy, and the attention span of a gnat. haven't even had the telly on cos the noise would finish me off.
Just having a coffee then I MUST do the kitchen.

    Pigpen - Squeak is gorgeous.

    Hugs to everyone else

P.S. I need a 50th birthday present for a DF. Any ideas Valli?
