Afternoon all
Frustrating trip to town, stupid length queues in the stupid post office which is now a costcutter with a post office despite this being the main town post office.
Then got back to my bike to find it had a puncture so had to push it all the way home (only a mile but it was cold and I only had thin layers on). Lovely DS1 has just walked up to school for me to collect DS1 as I need a cuppa.
I'll get the washing in once I've warmed through. Bet it's still wet, it's one of those days. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Where do I stick the tree...?
Pleeeeease don;t tempt me ..................
Anyway, back on topic, I've had a decluttering day today.
Made a chocolate cake, made some bread, ironed, tidied up, done most of the washing from holiday.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Huge hugs Dusty - not been the best one here either, topped off by DS2 having a very near miss after he ran out (completely at random - we don't need to cross) in front of a car at the school gate. A cold and stresed walk home for us all. Hoping DH will be back soon so he can try and look at my car tonight or I will be walking 4 miles to work tomorrow.
For those doing winter car prep please check you have details of your breakdown cover in your car. I hadn't
and hadn't a clue who it was with even.
I just need to do the last stage of paper sorting - into confidential and not and shift a few more piles of books and our room is ready for hoovering. Have also had a good scrub at the bathroom, and made a start on the book corridoor.

Kitchen looking good, a few bits of washing up to do and it's done for today. I'll mop the floor on Weds when DS is at school and sort a cupboard at some point. It's the tupperware cupboard wot attacks me whenever I open it so it'll have to be that one...
WM and TD been on all day too, and I'll have another load once kidlets are in bed. Not having much success on the potty front today, we're on clean pants and trousers number 3. He's fine when he doesn't have anything on his bottom half, or if he's just in pants he's ok too, but put trousers on and he just doesn't want to use the potty. He knows he should, because he'll come and tell me he's wet. It's not like he doesn't get the trousers down in time, he doesn't even try. *LeSigh* Any suggestions?
Going to make up the bed and put some laundry away, then S&S the LR after DS has had his tea. Then I think a hot bath is in order for me tonight, shattered. So, there are these boys,
They kinda stole my heart,
They call me Mummy

Willow hehe you don't need to do anything with the tree, it will alert the powers that be that you are new/here
So I have cooked the tea, well it is in the oven, made a yummy ginger cake from a packet mix from Aldi, very easy and VERY nice, got a carrot one as well so now looking forward to cooking/eating that. Have also emptied TD and folded towels, just need to actually put them away now!!
