 Good Morning everyone
Aaaawww! Lovely photos Pigpen.
I've decluttered DS to college - first day back after half-term; phoned through last week's hours worked; and phoned a DF to sing Happy Birthday at them.
Now I have to
Tax the car
Pay electricity bill
Buy DF a presie + wrapping paper (last minute or what:cool:)
Pick up photos
Then I'll be able to fly before getting ready to go out for birthday tea.
All go innit?
Hugs

Hi everyone!
Back in again this week - sorry, half-term sort of gobbled me up!
The weather was awful yesterday, so I made a determined start for the week to come, one day early.
That means some of today's list is already done, plus I defrosted 2 freezers and changed all the beds.

* Put loo cleaner down the loos
* Hung up a load of dark washing
* Found that DD had left one of my brooches (in the shape of a treble clef) pinned to her concert blouse, and DH had washed it without checking...
* Emptied and cleaned out the washing machine filter, shook out each wet sock and tee-shirt carefully and found all but one of the marcasite 'gem-stones' which had come unstuck in the wash.
Put them in a box and e-mailed DH telling him (politely) that he might need some superglue...
* Oh, there was a 50p piece, a safety pin and a few sweet wrappers in the filter, too, for good measure... all from DD's track suit bottoms...:mad::mad:
* Rang the dentist (been putting it off)
* Unpacked the dishwasher
* Got the meal out of the freezer
* Worked out my list of 'must-dos' for the week.
Am just glugging coffee, then I'm outside for a couple of hours: it's beautiful out there, and forecast to rain for much of the rest of the week.
Catch you later - am heading out now
MissH

Sockdrawer: sounds lovely (would love a walled garden). Just one thought - if you are going to put a lot of work into sorting it out, do you have any security of tenancy/use? Because it would be awful to get it looking beautiful at your own expense (personal and ££) and then the owner decide to sell it or do something else with it...0 - Sock pairing... fling all those without brothers!Sock wash hung out today!

Morning all! Cute little pumpkin you got there Pigpen
me and the wife have an appointment booked with the fertility clinic on 17th Nov, we're going to try for a baby
Really excited!
Got home from work at 10pm last night and found a horror comedy on the tv called 'Black Sheep'. Mutant rabid sheep! Very gory and funny
I've had my breakfast cooked by the wife, I've had a shower, got dressed and hung up the wet washing. Nothing on tv so while the wife is out at Paignton for a couple of hours I'm going to make a start on the kitchen.

Morning all!
Pigpen your pictures of squeak are just adorable!
delicious looks like the post has disappeared for you. hope you're okay.
I'm going to attempt the week's shop with four kids in tow in a bit - that should prove interesting! Teacher training today for both of mine and I volunteered to take the neighbours' kids as they are back at work. I will be bribing them with the prospect of cinema immediately afterwards so fingers crossed I manage to pull this off!
Kitchen looks like a bomb site again. I will address it later as I need to stop these kids going crazy!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Morning All
I am this week as much as I can be, I have started painting DD’s room.
Hope you are all well, not had a chance to read back, hugs/spoons/sticks in a pile here, just grab one as you go by x Special love as always to Lady-L, Toots & Diva x
I got a major fright this morning, got a text from the school about 10.45 saying DD was not at school and to call them urgently. Of course I panicked as I dropped her at her Grans (MIL) at 7.15 and she drops her at school on the way to work. I couldn’t get a hold of my MIL or SIL (they work together) eventually got my FIL and he says she must be at school, her Gran dropped her off!!! I called the school, by this time am in a blind panic and they said “Oh yes Mrs C, we notice A is off school, is she ok??” I told them she should be in school as her Gran dropped her off, so they went to the class and checked and the teacher had marked down the wrong A as being sick!!!! I cannot tell you the horrible feeling I had in the pit of my stomach, the teacher is just new but I don’t think that’s any excuse, she has had since August to get to know all the names, there are only 17 children in the class!! The Head sent me a text apologising!! My stomach is still churning just now!
Anyhow.….listy (my house descended into chaos yesterday and is an absolute mess!!!)
