Dusty thats such sad news, thoughts to you and your family.
boddy hope your mum gets well soon.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Hex~~ how do you manage in dark nights / mornings?

    by working 9.30-2.30!

    sexymouse:

    My mothers Fruit cake

    150g SR Flour
    150g mixed dried fruit
    1 desertspoon syrup or honey
1 egg, made up to 1/4 pint with skimmed milk

Mix it all together, scrape into small loaf tin and bake for 30 minutes at 180. Doesn't keep well, but was never much of an issue. Defeats the point if you then eat it with an equal sized slice of cheese like a good Lancashire Lass :D.

Had a really productive weekend, and managed some fun stuff too.
WEnt into town yesterday and actually made a start on Christmas gifts and cards. Made some frangipani mince pies with DH then he cleaned the cooker. (It was grim).
Today, I have vacuumed every inch of the house, and been out for lunch at the nice tearooms in Buxton. Had a kip too.
I just need to tackle the ironing, but CBA.
Hugs to all those that need them.
