ExtremeBlonde - everyone has to start somewhere. We've decided not to buy until we have a large deposit which I can't see happening any time soon. DPs Dad (who I think is a little harsh) told DP to wait until he has inheritance money, I can see his point however literal he is. I think I am more comfortable renting, some see it as dead money but there is no repair bills and every house we've lived in has needed thousands in repairs, this one and the last 3 have needed a new roof.

Why does ebay do free listing when I've listed the main thing I wanted to sell, PAH! Anyway just sent a snotty message to the ebay seller who is trying to rip me off, not letting this one go. Bluffed me off saying it was parts I needed, they sent several then when it still won't work it's too late for ebay to get involved. Returned the item and coming up 3 weeks later still had no contact at all regardless of 6 emails sent. ****holes!

Couple of parcels have arrived but they might contain presents for the boys so I am not opening them yet. I'm worrying about where to store gifts with DPs Dad going away close to Christmas it was a pain in the **** last year when they had them (and were back a little earlier IIRC). Been working mostly on the website I have about 24 hours left to complete, designer got in touch when I yet saying I would pop to his house as he wasn't responding - he lives with his parents! House is still a mess but I've started with a box in the living room for stuff to keep then one for rubbish so other than the stuff that belongs in the kitchen (cutlery, cups, laundry etc) it's all going in the bin or the box for everyone to select what belongs to them later as I've lost my head with them now. Boys while I have been sorting have been sent to box everything in their rooms, I'm not confident they are doing a great deal but they are out of my way when I am flinging between website uploads. Got a blinding headache, possibly due to my stop smoking pills so the pills and stopping are not helping my moods lol

Anyway this afternoon is more of the same, done one half so the rest to do, but the box which is huge is full so I might have to get the boys to take some things now. DPs still in bed but will probably expect a brunch when he emerges so I might get some sausages on now.

    Hope you're all having a good day x x x x
One day I might be more organised...........

lilme~~ebay, when you say it is too late to get ebay involved, what do you mean, if you were sold goods not fit for purpose /or incorrectly discribed, I would open a dispute with ebay.

  • Well planned day of flying has been shelved! Was going to have the family round for a chilli and fireworks but I was up half the night with a dodgy stomach so have decided to call it off. I do feel loads better today but but I've really not got the energy to tidy up for people coming round and I'm sure no one else wants to catch whatever I had last night either!

So instead we've bought a few fireworks for the girls to see and we're doing a mexican themed dinner tonight for us all. We're having veggie burritos with cheesy nachos followed by our version of churros with chocolate sauce...I say our version as there is nowhere that sells churros and I CBA making my own tonight so I saw an idea on the Waitrose website that used yum yums instead. So I'm slicing those into strips and we'll dip them in hot chocolate sauce. mmmmm. Getting hungry just thinking about it.

So the burrito mix is in the slow cooker and I've made some papier mache glue stuff as we're making some snowmen to make into a mobile for school. DD2 is in her first year in the juniors and every year they take in mobiles to hang from the hall ceiling. SIL suggested making an extra effort the first year so it can be used the whole way through the school. Sounds like a good plan to me. So we've decided to make a start today, even though they've not sent the letter out about them yet, but knowing school we'll get a weeks warning and it'll be a week where we've got no time to do it.

So, flying wise I'm sticking with keeping the kitchen in a reasonable state then I'll do a quick lounge tidy later as we've got the inlaws round for dinner tomorrow night. The plan tomorrow is to vacuum the lounge thoroughly and mop through the kitchen before they come.

Had some good news though...bumped into my friend at the shops whose got the little boy with a tumour...he's managed to come home for a few days so that'll definately help them all feel a bit better for the family to be in one place for a change!

Gonna stop blabbing now and sort out to make these snowmen.

Afternoon all, been MIA but has been worth it i hope. Loads of school bother but i'm hoping it's starting to get sorted.

Toots love to hear your home. xxx

Sorry can't remember anything else but hugs, spoons and good vibes to all. xxx

    Plan today
    Clear livingroom of everyone's junk.
    Get the DW on.
    Keep the wm going.
Fold and put away clean clothes.
    Brush and mop kitchen floor.
    Clean the bathroom.
Get boys to redo their room.
    S&S kitchen.
Brush and mop back hall, Bo likes to be in at night now and it's his room.
    Get kids bedding all washed.
Go to shop for light bulb and something for dinner.
    Get sticks in for tonight.
Put christmas pressies that's been got today away.

That should keep me busy for now, need to have all done by 7 for youth club.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Back again!
Just updating my today list. I don't think I have been as productive as I'd hoped - every time I started DD decided she was bored and started to annoy her brother...she's in her room now (of her own volition) and has said she'll come down when dinner's ready.

Anyway, here's what I managed to do:

Sort through some more junk, reallocating it to the bin/charity shop as appropriate.
Sort the living room again: DSs toys are taking over, HHI x 2 (): 1 x done.
Binbag and recycling dance - whole house Done
Sort the junk beside my desk - it's on the floor, blocking the back door (we don't use said door as we have patio doors on the same wall, but in an emergency we might have to) Done
Sort kitchen. I've been out this morning and it's a bombsite.... Done

Plus, I've put some pizza dough in the BM for dinner. CBA doing anything more involved right now. Hate having SAD.

I've also got to sort a shopping list for tomorrow - OH has said he'll come with me, rather than me going round on my own on Monday. Good, as I'm planning to do a fortnight's shop - again, CBA shopping weekly at the moment. Don't talk to me about online ordering. The last time I did it, it took me almost as long to place the order as it would have taken me to drive to the shop and do it myself. (Mr T is five minute's drive away).

Anyway, I'm off to finish said dinner; and looking at my desk, I can see more candidates for the bin.

    Take care

Lil_me.. my sis is on the stop smoking pills and has blinding headaches too..She just takes loads of anadin lol

Christmas pressies sorted into individual boxes.. the girls are all done!!!! However, my chest is now killing and I am really wheezy.. not sure if it is the dust or damp from the girls room or if I have exposed myself to a substantial amount of latex.. s'pose it could be my mothers dogs but came on a few hours later so unlikely.. I feel like I have been punched in the chest so am sitting on the bed doing nothing for a bit while it eases off.. I'm eating parma violets to keep my mouth moist as it is getting dry and making me cough twice as much.

I have 4 iems for DS2, and about a dozen little things for DS3.. guess who I'm spending every spare penny on this month!? I have decided they can have rockband game for Xbox and a new PC (theirs is dead) then I just need stocking fillers for DS2 and I need to sort Stepdad, Sis and both OH's for 2 sisters.

Presents dropped at my mothers for DS3, DD4 and DD5 for christmas clearing a binbag of space in my room!

Car in for fixing on Monday so we'll be doing a lot of school runs on foot that day..

In scrabbling through the presents I found a brand new SD card which will save me some spondoolies and I needed one for my new video camera (christmas presents to myself!).. now I don't :D!
