Whoop whoop!! I'm on a roll, another one today
I was so tempted to get a bus home as its been chucking it down all day but walked the mile home in a drizzle and icy wind then leapt straight into a lovely hot bath, and now sitting in my PJs and dressing gown0 -
Reporting in #5 for me today, only went out to the post office to post some sales earlier (not counting that as spending, as postage already paid for by buyers)
Also this is my 4th in a row now!!!
Tomorrow will be a spend day though, i am going to a gig tomorrow night!0 -

Thanks! I was hoping the labels will prevent the "how much for this?" questions while we are unloading the car. DH is an old vet of the boot sale and he says people can go crazy crowding around your car! (thats the bit I am scared of)I have factored in haggling to my prices, lol!:pTotal debt cleared so far £7281.44
Total debt remaining £2130.85

Eviltwin - when I do a car boot, I pull up, lock the car and go for a pee, leaving the throng peeking through the windows of the car! I might lose a couple of sales, but I don't get anything pinched whilst I am busy unloading.
Today was nsd number 3 for me. DH, as usual, told me we had run out of something and expected me to hot foot it to the shop but I have refused. If it was down to him I would be popping to the shops every day. The kids know to write stuff on the shopping list when we are running low, it's the hubby that can't seem to grasp the concept. He'll learn eventually!!
Have a nice evening all.If Plan A fails, remember there are 25 more letters0 -

NSD #5 for me
Loads of bread rolls in clearance tonight, but I'm not going back down as I don't need any
I made myself a loaf in my bread maker last night, and risked mixing flours/mixes to use up stuff I have in - and it worked :T
I have some granary loaf and roll mix, which I made a loaf from a little while ago that wasn't a huge success. I also have strong white and wholemeal flour in. So I took the recipe my machine gives for a 2.5lb wholemeal, which says 600g w/meal flour and 150g white flour, and substituted half the w/meal flour for an equivalent amount of the granary mix (which already has yeast in it, but I didn't reduce the amount of yeast I added in accordance with the recipe as both the mix and my dried yeast are a month or two OOD so I figured this gave the best chance of it rising properly).
Had some at lunch (along with pasta, sauce, tuna, peas & sweetcorn - also made up yesterday, and one jar of the sauce I bought from the staff shop makes 4 substantial lunch time servings of this.... so I can also start using up some of my pasta and tuna mountains on a regular basis now) and it was lovely (though I'm going to reduce the salt a touch next time as I noticed it for the first time, possibly due to the fact there's almost certainly some in the mix already - and yes I did use a teaspoon to measure it, as I know not to mix a tspn with a tblspn)

Evening all!
NSD #3 today!!
Not sure how many more I can get this week as I know I need some food in at some point but prob do that on weds as that's always a spend day as I do a lottery line! Really must start to learn to batch cook!!! Although we only have a small freezer that seems to be permanently full!Just keep swimming0 -
Oh dear - I have really fallen off this NSD wagon - ANOTHER spendy day today  £9.50 in Tesco, OH didn't like the carrot and pumpkin bread from Mr A which I bought on Sat so I stopped in to get him a 'normal seedy' loaf, picked myself up some honey roast ham for my sarnies tomorrow (in said carrot and pumpkin bread), that set me back another £2.50-odd as I will only buy outdoor happy piggy ham, on a better note though I picked up some of the Cathedral City Ex.Mature cheese that's on offer for Buy One get Two Free. At £4.50 a pack it's not cheap - but £4.50 for 3 isn't bad :j
I think tonight I'm going to buy my mum's birthday present (it's on eBay and they have a really short returns time so I'm trying to time it so she can have it on her birthday and there will still be time for returns if necessary) - and then tomorrow I MUST get back on the NSD wagon else this month is going to be a write off.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
