NSD No 3 for me today. Next one should be Sunday and aiming for good week after that too. Bring on the weekend:beer:DeeBee0

:rotfl:
You'd be surprised at how many hidey-holes I can find
I've not started trying to squeeze anything into the loft yet, but that's pretty full of kids books, kids toys, an old single bed (blame DS1 for that one!! he dismantled it and shoved it up there while DH and I were at work), and loads of Christmas decorations I've not used in years........
And I'm off work the week after next, so can (hopefully) get stuck into a serious de-junk of my non-food stuff which should - in theory - clear more space
Ohhh...I do love a de-clutter - although I think I am nearing the limit of things in the immediate house to car boot/ebay/freegle...perhaps I'll come round and get stuck into your loftFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Sounds good to me, Cheryl, a wiggle and a giggle in January, just the tonic!!!!
Grrr to your appointment today.......The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Me too - I adore de cluttering, I'd do it for a living!:rotfl::rotfl:
Good morning everyone
Thank you all so much for your lovely messages - I feel quite overwhelmed by your kindness:A
Yesterday was a busy day as we went through to Glasgow again.
OH and BIL got all the funeral arrangements sorted so at least thats one difficult part dealt with. Me and my SIL spent the day making sandwiches, soup and cups of tea for everyone. It's amazing how much tea you can get through!;)
Had a small spend as had to get rolls, coffee tea and cooked meat, but that's ok.
Got home last night, shattered. It's good to get home to your own house at the end of a day like that.
We are having today and tomorrow here before going back on Monday as there are things OH needs to do and then the funeral is on Tues.
Should have a couple of NSD's as Im not going anywhere today, I think we both need a couple of quiet days just to come to terms with what's happened.
I enjoyed catching up with all your news this morning,
Have a lovely day everyone:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -
Morning all!!
Tea's about 6 Spoon!!! The pie is simmering in the slow cooker as we speak!!
In keeping with the general theme that's emerged here i am also off to declutter... 10 tons of junk out of the shed is heading to the tip any minute now!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
How about January - sounds like a great way to start a new year
(and to celebrate my birthday month as well)
I love that idea - my birthday month aswell
As for my NSD's - they have gone all to potI have no idea where I am at now. I know I've only had one but cant remember what day it was. I THINK that I had spendy days on 1st and 2nd (going by my receipts) NSD on 3rd, spendy day on 4th then NSD on 5th which means I now have 2 NSD's for Nov Hmmmmm not too impressed with that but I wont lose heart just yet
.
Today will be a spendy day because DS has been invited to a party this afternoon so need to get a gift and possibly a card for that (must check my box of cards first) but also a very good friend had her first baby yesterday so I need to get another wee something to go with that pressie and possibly a card for that aswell (MUST check card box).
On a non spending note - I will be picking up my fre3cycle goodies this morning aswell. A new freezer. I have been looking for a 2nd freezer for some time and have now been offered 2!!! One is a table top version (a bit smaller than I would have liked but will still be of great use) and a huge 6ft one. You have no idea how much I would like that one but I just dont have the space
.
Also need to take DS back to optician to get glasses adjusted! He has been a star and kept them on since he got them but (without sounding a tad melodramatic) I think its the first time he can see in 4 years. He's looking at EVERYTHING like its new and is suddenly spotting things that have always been there. Considering its a reduced prescrition its pretty blummin strong - myself, my mum and one of the girls from nursery have tried them on and cant see through them at all!! My dad can but that worries him as everything looks big and clear to him and his sight is really really bad
Had a lovely night at the fireworks last night (which is entry by donation) DS was a bit put off by the loud bangs this year but all in all a good night
Sorry for the long rambly post - hadnt realised I was waffling quite so muchEmma
Aug GC - £88.17/£130
NSD - target 18 days, so far 5!!0 -
Change of plan and potentially today could turn out to be an NSD. Glad I did christmas shopping for OH few minutes before midnight last night when realised it was a spent day (petrol + bread water and milk - all very happy not to buy silly pressy food items). OH mentionned that he wanted robot chicken and found Star Wars ones for £3.76 (he likes Star Wars result! so got both).
Double happy this morning as I received replacement handle for coffee pot. 2 weeks ago the handle broke while emptying the pot (tall bialetti moka maker - quite expensive when I got several years back); I was so miffed I emailed the customer support in Italy to let them know that could have been serious if it had broken while serving coffee (got a new handle sent, received this morning and can see that the piece is 1 piece now not like it was made originally ..).
Plan is to stay at home, do competitions and scout the web for further christmas ideas for remaining of the family. Have a great day all.MFW on your mark0 -
Good morning everyone!
Yesterday was my 5th NSD in a row meaning my running total is 5 NSDs as well! :T I'm keeping my fingers crossed for number 6 today!
Jinty - sorry to hear your sad news, sounds like you're doing fantastically though.
Have fun to everyone off to firework displays tonight - OH and I plan to head up to the roof this evening - hoping we'll be able to see them from there!
Have a good weekend everyone and good luck to everyone eBaying/car booting/clearing out etc!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:
