just wanted to let you know that if you buy a item from the lime brand in the clearance , you CANNOT return it to a normal next store!!! i discovered this today, so will have to wait untill next week to go back to the outlet village for a refund as the jeans i bought had a rip in them - not a happy bunny!

I go to the next clearance shop (called next clearance) at Swindon.

They have many bargains as long as you are prepared to search a bit.

In fact there are a lot of bargains to be found throughout the whole outlet village!!

    McArthur Glen, Swindon. :)
I live in my own little world, but it's ok as everyone knows me here :)
  • I woud ring my Next Clearance and quiz them when the next sale is but conveniently they don't have a phone number, not one I can find anyway!!!!

I go to the lakeside one. It is fantastic. I needed a new suit for a new job, and got one for about seventy quid. It is hit and miss though, I'll give you that. Mind you, I am still wearing a leather coat I bought from Choice in Grays about seven years ago.

  • Sometimes you can be lucky, other times it can be rubbish. A few months ago they had all shoes and boots for £5.00 a pair, I sold a couple of pairs on Ebay for £35.00. Lime looks really cheap too, the one I've been to is in Portsmouth.

there is a 'next to nothing' store in Birmingham. Personally I dont think much of it. you cant try clothes on at all . its sorted into suits, trousers, skirts etc but its a bit of a rummage.

totally agree with this although if you go first thing its not too bad

the others in brum and surrounding areas are perry barr, one stop shopping centre and west bromwich which is by far the best the homewars section is fantastic...........:money:

Hi, this is actually not true (though I don't doubt the store told you this - I'm not calling you a liar!!). I work in the Street clearance store, and the "official" policy is that although Next prefer it if you return lime stock to lime or clearance stores, the mainline stores will also accept it.

If it happens again, ask for the manager or floor manager and I expect they will relent. Failing that, insist that the store phone customer services to 'clarify' the policy.

BTW, for whoever wanted their local store's number - all the store numbers start the same way and end in the store's (3 digit) store number:

0870 3865 XXX where XXX is the store number. If you know that (it's on the top of any receipt next to the store name) then you can call any store using that number.
