    im finding it very slow on win7 X64. Havent updated the latest flash yet but if that doesnt help then im changing browsers

    I am having trouble with firefox as well. It used to let me download videos to Realplayer from youtube but not now. It freezes on some webpages and its down to a java problem and I can only get out of it by task manager. I am going to start using ie8 again soon if it doesn't improve. By the way I have updated jave time and again and it doesn't help.

    Similar problems here. Tried de-installing it and deleting the c:\programfiles\mozilla directory, then doing a total re-install. No better - freezes sometimes and task manager reports it as "not responding" on occassions IE8 far quicker

    Suggest as so many find no problem that users back up bookmarks . Delete Firefox and every one of its folders . Install new and then put your add on etc back on . Its probably a conflict between old extensions making a problem for a few .

    Which is why I suggested a new firefox 'profile'

    I have 7 versions of java console as addons, I'm sure thats 6 too many. Can't uninstall them thou just disable
