Having a terrible time with the last 3 releases of Firefox, I have been a very long time user and fan of Firefox but have to say lately it has gone terrible for me, runs really slow and laggy loads of problems with the new flash plugin really not impressed at all!
Have even been forced to fire up IE8 which to my surprise is running a million times better, looks like the fox has lost the plot what a shame

Latest version 3.6.12 seems to be running just fine here under Ubuntu linux.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

No probs here.
As said, try a fresh install. May also be worth backing up your bookmarks etc, and starting with a fresh profile.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks for the replies guys, I did try a fresh install and also a fresh install of adobe flash player, de-activated all my add ons back to a basic install and no change, mmmmmmmm I am running quite a high end lappie with win 7 on so makes no sense really but if you guys are having no problems it must be a problem on my machine back to the drawing board I have had this lappie just 12 months now so is due a format and re-install of win7 been meaning to do it for a few weeks now just the thought of backing everything up puts me off lol, I will get it done later and then re-install the fox and see if that helps

As said I am now running IE8 better than I ever have achieved with the fox so really confused, I have had to do 3 updates within the last couple of months so presumed (wrongly I now know) it was a global problem they were working on.
Oh well.......................
Thanks again guys

It's fine for me under XP, 7 and Arch Linux.
As bengalknights says, try uninstalling FF, maybe run CCleaner to clear any tempory cache files and delete the FF installation folder (if any remnants are left), then re-install.0 -
3.6.12 : no problems to report here

I have trouble with Firefox. It's become big and bloated. FF is the new IE imo.
