    Hi all,
Going to sort the bedroom this morning - it's too untidy and the storage needs sorting. Studying this afternoon and then going to a gathering at the landlady's at about 7.
    Better get in the shower!

Thanks everyone. Emotional stuff doesn't come easy to me. So when mum says she's worried about how to pay for the funeral, I just say don't worry about it, there's grants. By which I mean, don't worry about it that's for me and sister to deal with. It never occurred to me that it would come across as saying she could have a cheap funeral paid for by the state so I'd have more money to inherit. I feel like there's a bit of my brain missing that does the emotional stuff because I just don't get it.

Butti, I don't care what people think, but mum does. So having her friends saying how awful I am doesn't help her.

Okay Ames, so you can anticipate what is happening and explain to your mum what you are doing, check she is happy with it and why you are doing it.

If her friends are telling her how awful you are while she if fighting a terminal illness I don't think they are very good friends. My mum's last year on this planet was a sea of harmony. All issues with friends and family were dealt with away from her. She had enough crap to deal with without conflict from those around her.

    You just do your best.

Is anyone else having problems with the book of faces? It keeps logging me out every couple of minutes.

Do I need to cancel my TV License or can I just cancel the direct debit, since I don't get a TV signal anymore.

Nope, only get a half decent one with an aerial o there's no point. TV is there for DVDs anyway.

It's probably worth letting them know as well as cancelling the DD, then they're not going to be hounding you with letters and phonecalls. It's probably worth informing them that you no longer have a tv so that they don't start chasing you to get a license that you don't need.

It's paid up until April which is good, but I need to write a letter and send it to the refund section (have the address) so I get a refund bit back, which would be nice.
