op reading your post has made me worry has we found out last week 18 year old daughter is pregnant and is not ready to have a child yet as she is in full time education. they was using precautions and she even took morning after pill but it failed to work. she tried to sort it out herself by going to fpc and got a hospital appointment who then said by the scan she was 5 weeksgone. they then give her an appointment for 7th nov for a consultation.she told me on friday and my heart sank so worried, husband said we will pay for her to go private thinking it will be quicker phoned marie stopes told them she was 5 weeks pregnant said to come in on sunday for consultation plus have the abortion . we get there on sunday for my daughter to see a nurse i presume to be told at five weeks it is too early to perform an abortion and she will have to come back in two weeks . daughter was so upset as she expected it to be over with why could they not tell me that on the phone. by reading this post it shows you what can go wrong and unless you have dealt with this before it is very really scary and daughter has still not been told what can go wrong and what happens in the procedure. Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

cant remember the exact details - but I can get my books out if somebody wants me too but there is a law in this country where if anybody does something that causes injury to a foetus which affects their life that child can sue that person in their own right. This only applied to people born after 1976 and you cannot sue your mother if she does anything whilst pregnant.
Although you would have to prove the doctor was negligent (if she was - unfortunately there's a difference between being an unfeeling miserable git and being negligent) and it was not just a failed op which would have been covered in the disclaimer.I understand ALOT more than I care to let on
