OS Meet Up - Birmingham

Hello Everyone - as a lurker of this thread just wanted to say hope you all have a wonderful time at the meet tomorrow.
I live in Birmingham but unfortunately have other plans for tomorrow so can`t get there. Although I have never been to the Old Joint Stock before, it looks very nice and there are always good reviews in the local press about it.

I'm not dressing up - I dont do dressing up, casual wear for me but i'm not there for the evening so maybe people will be smarter later in the day?

Ah my frocks not fancy smancy, Its a retro sort of one I'd say, the only glitz will be my earings and braclet

Many thanks all , it seems what I have packed will be fine black top and skirt for evening, black trousers and top for day. I cannot wait, I've got to sell Panto tickets first for Am Dram society. Then on the train and there.

Zoe - your frock sounds very swish, not sure Broad Street is the frock sort of place unless it's the size of a belt :rotfl:

Ha Bitsy, I'm a veteran for Broad street :P Or i used to be! My frock'll be fine, I did say to Hubby, aren't you a bit glad I've put away the mountains on my chest for once(as I'm going out without him) and he said 'No, you still look far to sexy, but in a very different way' Awww bless him. So hopefully the dress is suitable for wherever, whatever we end up doing!
I'm still torn with which hotel to book, both the premier inn on waterloo street and the ramada encore are at £59...Hmmm

Zoe at least with Waterloo street you'll be close to where the others are staying. Just thinking of when it's kicking out time (;)) at least you can all travel back to your respective hotels together? Just a thought anyway.
