we are both coming but wont be stopping for the evening - just have to make do with the afternoon but better than nothing!
(you'll probably have had enough of us by then anyway;):p:D)
The rest of you can party the night away!:beer:_party_:dance: no doubt Bitsy will be tapdancing on the table while JackieG does The Highland Fling playing the bagpipes:rotfl::DDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Mr Caterina and I will be there for sure, staying the night but possibly not joining in the dancing bit, as we are both little old people and need our beauty sleep!
See you all in a few days! xFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Caterina, tis ok, you can skulk in the corner with moi
Whilst i stand and sway on my stick! I probably should come in my chair but the thought of negotiating new street and birmingham is not worth a little bit of pain...sure my good friend Gordon will help with that! So no dancing for me
I'm booking my room tomorrow, where is everyone staying and did anyone who can't afford a hotel alone/or will be staying alone want to bunk up?x

A few of us are at the Weatherspoons, it might be worth seeing if they have rooms left, I can't remember where the others are, it might be worth trawling through pages4-9 to see. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Hi there
We are staying in the Ramada Encore-didn't realise about Wetherspoons....not really dancers but good for a drink in the evening if you are gathering back at the hotel.

Hi Zoe, I checked The Briar Rose (Wetherspoons) when I saw your post last night, but Sat is full. Perhaps go on lateroms.com and put in Brum and see what comes up. It shows you distances from citycentre. Or bring a pillow & sleeping bag and sleep in our bath :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Me and OH are at Wetherspoons. 'And you've booked a hotel?'...............'Yes, I'm sharing with a girl from Glasgow'
'Do you know anything about her?'...............'Yes, she's called Jackie and comes from Glasgow'
'Mmmmmnnnhhhhhhhh.........bet she's a trucker called Jack! Honestly, I don't know how you can put yourself in such dangerous situations!!':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:sounds good to me

:rotfl: too funny Dolly, When I met with meanmarie in Glasgow, my OH made me phone him twice, and chased me on the phone because he thought she might be an "axe murderer called George" :rotfl: When I met her the second time in Edinburgh, he said, "Oh well I know you'll be safe because you're meeting Marie" fickle or what?
Lol he's just said he bets you're really Vinnie from Croydon :rotfl:It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -

'Allright..........mate?'.............said in deep voice..........
I am trying to cheer myself up...............had an accident in my car this morning...............bl00dy ice
It could've been worse............It could've been worse............It could've been worse...........It could've been worse............
It could've been worse............
Worse than losing my no claims...............having the hassle of getting the car to a 'specified garage' - probably bloomin' miles away - and having to miss work to get it there...........on top of insurance premiums rocketing anyway
It could've been worse............is what I've been chanting all day. Oh and the occasional: 'A fag will NOT make it any better......'
I'm not sure we should be let loose together.............both seem to be accident/incident prone......oh and I had 2 days off with a migraine as well!Nicotine Free since 01.08.2010 :j:j:j
