I read this thread last night about the pins etc and it must've played on my mind.............I dreamt that I was wearing my pin with a tartan ribbon and a doll on it (dundeedoll) and then I saw you - no pin, but a label with a pic of some baked beans (I do actually know what you look like - seen you on FB)

thanks dundeedoll, have passed info to OH as he is the driver and I am a sorry excuse for a passenger :rotfl: I really don't do driving or directions I just know where Birmingham is as we drive past it on the way down to see my family down south, so I know its after we leave home and before we usually have our first wee wee stop :rotfl::rotfl:

Should be able to make it before I need a wee stop

I was the same with OH - he used to drive HGVs at one time, so well used to stressful driving.

Now I haven't got him to chauffeur me about, I'm going by train...........it's actually much cheaper too - £6.90 return.

Don't blame you for making a weekend of it - that was my thinking too! I've been so for months, but since I decided to put my name down for this, it's given me something to look forward to

Hi aardvaak, The OS refers to 'Old Style' as in the old fashioned way of doing things............like Granny used to.............pick blackberries/apples to make pies in autumn, to last the winter, make soups, roast on Sunday, sandwiches from the meat, cottage pie from it etc ...............you get the idea.

At least, that is MY understanding of it - I may be completely wrong though
