    Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    We leave London at 10 am and the journey takes 3 hours (hopefully if no delays) so we should be at the pub around 1:30 pm.
    Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    My train gets into New St about 11. Shall wander over to hotel (May have to nip in to Debenhams and get my free mascara as in Martin's e-mail) to see if I can check my bag in.

    if the train we come on get in early we shall have a mooch around then come back to the station I think as I havent a clue where the pub is.

    Taplady I think you saw the link to the pub website, as you commented on how nice the pub looked, but here is a link to a map, showing New St station and the pub.
