As I said before I hate walking into pubs on my own so I will need detailed information about where you lot are sitting so I can find you! :rotfl:

Flutterby I am exactly the same, the thought of walking into a pub and hunting for people, even people I know makes me feel sick to my tummy! Hubby moves tables If I pop outside for a cig or to the car just to wind me up, He'll sit there watching me, wetting himself, whilst I am at the door looking for him...the meany...but I've got new glasses now so he can't hide:rotfl: you lot however can hide as A, I won't be wearing my glasses and B. I don't know any of you!!! _pale_
Precisely why I am getting a train at a god awful hour just to meet Jackie :T
Oooooh! I am sooooooo excited now, this is just what I need, I've had a terrible two weeks of pain. My normal pain is bad, with days here and there of really really bad pain, but the last two weeks its been solid non stop:eek: so a bit of this--is well needed and well deserved!
PS. If there was anyone who wanted to come but couldn'd because they couldn't afford a room, I have a spare bed in mine if anyone would like to utilise it... I'm not to mad, I promise....I'm just insane0 -
when does your train get in Flutterby?
Taplord and I though we might meet some of you at the station and then make our way to the pub together.
12.26 at New Street.
But don't go waiting round for me if you get in earlier

Ahhha, I did see you mention it. Where about's do you live?(tell me 'morrow if you don't want it on here!!! *faceslap*) I grew up in Sutton Coldfield, Moved to Lichfield when I was 19 and we've not long moved over to Burton, so I still take any chance I can to pop into Birmingham/Sutton and relive0 -
Don't worry Bitsy, I'm one of those folks who speak to people in bus queues, it's shutting me up is the problem!:eek:0

My grandparents live in Lichfield after living in Sutton Coldfield
I am in South Brum in what Tapper's H referred to as the posh side (I am so NOT posh I hasten to add, spit and sawdust kinda gal me) If you know my side of town you'll have a reasonable idea of where LOL Dunno why I am being cloak and dagger about where I live as anyone that knows me would probably be able to find out looking at what I've posted in the past :rotfl::rotfl:

Just popped in to say "Hope you all have a lovely time".
I would really have liked to come but we have to attend a dog show over at Stafford (don't really want to even go there as I'm still getting over the flu) - still, maybe next time :hello:.

My Hubby's from Walsall, a really dire part haha, but his mum and dad are so wonderful, and they brought him up so well. He still calls me a posh snob, though I am far from that!
I love catching the train into Birmingham from Burton now, only one stop inbetween at Tamworth, comfy seats, a lovely man walking up and down the isles with wine&food...such peace and quiet, I might get to read my book...Yippee!!! Debating whether I can can get away with having a glass of red at 9am...but I think that will be pushing it a little0 -
