You're wanting them to buy your house not invite them on holiday with you.pidgeonpost wrote: »....but surely that's the point, so why do anything to jeopardise it? Obviously people own cats, dogs, and kids, but ask any Agent and they will suggest you don't have them around while a viewing takes place. Only my opinion of course, but I've viewed potential homes that smell of dog/cat, or you can't concentrate on what the owner or agent is telling you because of noise from the kids. It's a hard market at the moment, and you need to do all you can to make your house the one the potential buyer goes for.
We're not talking about pets or children. I very much doubt anybody has ever said (if they were truthful) that they didn't choose a property because a car was or was not on the driveway. Yes, you need to make an effort to show a property in a good light but worrying about something on the drive just seems just slightly too anal.0 -
I can't say much more than whats already been said, but what I did find amusing was that the estate agents on right move stole each others photos and only one estate agent (the one I went with) didn't. How did I tell? Well the guy who's house it was has a small car. The estate agent who'd taken the photos obviously drove a huge 4x4 which featured in all the external shots.Tim0

One reason why it may (or may not) be a good reason to leave your car in the garage....or on the drive! ;o)
