Then forget about completion. Assume it is not going to happen. Get on with Plan B.I've been chasing the problem all day.
Said to EA we really needed a weekend due to work commitments, prefably this weekend. So the vendor finally comes back and says we can look midday in a week day- well thats useful isnt it? I again, clarified a weekend was possible only and the EA said vendor was too busy with removal companies coming round on weekends (What good will that be if we pull out!). EA said vendor is being unfair and unreasonable but at the same time he did not want to push her too much! But its ok to push your buyers too much is it?! It feels like they couldnt care less if we walk now.
I asked why we couldnt see it today and the vendor was out apparently- however we did a 'drive-by' and lo and behold her car was there.
Either this vendor is lazy, a fool or getting cold feet.Or hiding something....
Whatever it is its getting me stressed seeing as completion for sale and purchase should be a month from today...
Speak to the Agent and say that you have done a drive by, you know damn well she is there and that the deal is off if she is being unreasonable and using the agent to tell you porkies. Name a downright awkward time for your vendor and insist on her being there at that time.

Simply put withdraw your offer if you dont get the viewing, its a buyers market out there.0

You've had two viewings, and that's convinced you to make an offer, which suggests to me you want the property. You say you want access to measure things. Why is it vitally important to measure things before you exchange? Why can't you do it after?
Essentially, why should the seller allow you an hour or so of their time when there's still no firm guarantee that you'll be the eventual buyer?
FWIW, standard practice in my part of Scotland is that once an offer has been received and accepted, the buyers get no further access until missives are concluded - the equivalent of exchange of contracts. You want to measure things, you measure them after you've finalised the purchase, but before you gain entry.0 -

the more views a buyer has the more the place can feel like home so i would let a buyer who has agreed to buy the house come as many times as they like, within reason
when we were selling our buyer came for three views, i think, and we were worried they were going to pull out or be put off by something but thats the chance you take
usually its just to double check the cleanliness, the area or just take measurements of room or general space etc0 -

The problem is I like the house so much, and love the area. Despite it being a buyers market, in our particular radius there is just nothing on the market in our budget right now! They all got snapped up before we sold and nothing new has come on since August.
I would be very upset to let this one go...0
