It seems as though nobody has any cheap deals on iPhone 4s at the moment, as I guess they don't have to. I have been looking everywhere and even ebay isn't very cheap.
If you do happen to find one anywhere though, it would be great if you could post it!0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Hi
Looking to get a iPhone 4 handset had a quick look around the cheapest place I've found to get it from is O2 for £495.
Does anyone know if there are better deals than that?
Thanks
Tim
it's not worth buying it from 02.
You can buy it from the apple store for £499 with the huge advantage that is unlocked whereas buying it from 02 or any other mobile operator it will be locked0 -
I dont understand why you want to pay so much for the phone + call/internet charges on top!
On a contract with 3 for example you pay less than £100 for phone but you get 800min, txts etc etc for about £35 p/m.
£35 * 24 months = £840 and if you pay 500 for the phone your gona pay MUCH more than £340 for calls etc over the 2 years.0 -
It would depend entirely on the sim only deal. The T Mobile 12 month deal for £10 (500 mins, 600 texts, 3gb internet) over 24 months = £240...saving £100 on the deal you quote. You also get the added bonus of not being tied into a contract for very long (if at all!).
Plus, the phone is arguably more 're-sellable' if unlocked.
Totally depends on how the OP uses their phone.0 -
£484.03 from Apple through Quidco with 3% cashback.0

Do you ready need the Iphone at all? I'm sure you'll find other phones capable of doing the same thing. We all want Mercedes, Jaguar or even Ferrari, but fore now a Ford, Vauxall, Peugeot will do the job. Your taste should match your wallet. Methinks!!!:jDON'T STEAL!!! There's no killer deals on the iPhone 4, the price is set by Apple so you might be able to save a few quid off Apples price, but it will just be a few quid, it wont be much.
If you can wait try and hold off for the January sales, you might get a good deal in the sales, but I guarantee there'll be plenty getting sold so people can "upgrade" to the white iPhone 40 -

you might not understand why people want to buy sim free, but you aren't the OP, and all they asked for is advice on the cheapest iPhone 4, not your opinion on why they want to buy it.
And believe it or not, buying it sim free can definitely work out cheaper for some (who aren't in the same position as you).
I bought my iPhone 4 sim free because I have an existing sim on T-Mobile that offers more value than most other price plans available (and I am still under contract for another 15 months or so).
I was given an HTC Desire FOC as an upgrade by T-Mobile which I promptly sold for £300, this has basically dropped my monthly line rental to £5.10 a month over the contract with my "cashback" paid at the start of the contract.
My priceplan includes a mix of up to 900 minutes (including international and 08xx numbers) or 1800 texts and 3GB HSDPA data allowance, all for £17.50 a month (before "cashback").
My unlocked iPhone 4 cost me £499 from Apple, and will probably hold its value better for resale then any network locked one.
You tell me how I could have done a better deal on any network?====0 -
Can you use any sim with data allowance with the iphone then?? I wasn't sure you could..... I thought it had to be a micro sim and hence that might limit what you could get.......
I have the 3G and adore it but thinking I might treat myself to the 4 if I can get enough data limit and 3GB sounds like just the plan....
