Would have thought if they've accepted the purchace they would have to honour it.
Not sure what the legalities are. Anyway, worth a try.0 -

Don't think these things become binding until they are dispatchedMake £11,000 in 2011 challenge - £120/£11,0000 -
I ordered one earlier via paypal, and my son opened account and ordered one. If they dont honor and return the payments (if taken) i would not mind at all. Especially as the codes are for very.
I just dont want to wait till the 9th and find out they wont be honoring it.Started advent comps 04.12.2013

Just to let you all know, I have had a right nightmare with them this afternoon!
I was charged the full amount and coz I did one, hubby did and FIL did. FIL wasn't happy about being charged the full amount. So asked me to call.
I called, got my order cancelled without confirming 100% that I wanted it to be.
Then I said that my hubby n FIL had both made orders she asked me for their order numbers. And cancelled them without asking for permission off either off them!!!
I also told them that my BF had brough one through paypal, and had only been charged the 25 quid.
They said they anyone doing so would be told to either cancel their order or would be sent out a letter requesting that they pay the remaining 20 quid.
to cut a long story short, i was told woolies dnt do codes, its only coz they r part of shop direct and coz they use codes on their other sites.
So yes your email will say 25 quid, but they will cancel ur order or charge you the remaining 20 by post.
They were rude and broke consumer laws.
Trading standards are now involved and watch dog have been informed.
Trading standards are not happy with their t&c's and are going to tell them to remove them and rewrite them, as they are very unfavourable towards customers.
Please be warned, coz they were really rude, and one of their staff saw it on facebook, and so due to this they r prepared.
good luck, and your best bet is to get a refund.

i can't get it to work now. Oh well nice try.0

I think its slightly over the top to contact trading standars/watchdog over this!!! thats the thing with glitches sometimes they work sometimes they don't theres not anything anyone can actually do about it. They haven't broken any laws, any retailer can refuse your order/purchase for any reason they see fit. Can you imagine a company this big not knowing the ins and outs of trading standards policies and retail legislations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0
