OK sorry everyone just got off the phone with customer services (who are brilliant)
they will not be honouring the discount, all orders will be charged at the full amount or cancelled, apparently the code started on facebook yesterday, they cancelled my order and gave me the refund no problems
oh well it was worth a go OP0 -
hmmmmm
I placed my order using debit card and it seems they have taken the full £45, wondering if i should cancel and redo it using paypal
It does say that if you pay by card it will take the full amount, then they refund you the discount later.
Thats why most people are paying by paypal as it doesn't take the full amount.0 -
gempink - well im hoping that they will contact those who have ordered it using the code to tell them, rather than just trying to take £45 - i paid through paypal though so im not sure whats gonna happen0

Just got off the phone and all orders are going to be cancelled apperently. They said it was for people who opened a very account, she did offer if I wanted to open one (don't know how much it costs) but I declined and she said it will be refunded

I did say they would end up charging you the full amount.
I didn't say it to ruin everyone fun just to warn about what this company is like fo people using codes.Make £11,000 in 2011 challenge - £120/£11,0000 -
Just paid £25 by paypal and got my woolworths order confirmation at that amount- they can't charge more to paypal customers so will just have to wait and see if they cancel it I guess. No but honestly I'd love this code to work but people just need to be aware that if you've paid by card they probably will just charge full price and send it out whilst you are thinking they are gonna get £20 back as a refund that won't happen so at least now people have the chance to cancel and save the hassle.
Hmmm I'd love to see if the paypal orders go through I have no idea what they will do I'd imagine refundMake £11,000 in 2011 challenge - £120/£11,0000 -

They always charge those who pay by card the full amount with the intention of refunding the discount later.
The reason that these orders will be cancelled as people say is because the code wasn't for their website.0
