I know they always charge the full amount then refund but they won't this time they will charge full price and not refund and when you question it they'll say the code wasn't valid.

Anyway if no one has had a cancellation email yet there is still hope they won't be cancelled

The CS dept did say that they will be cancelling all orders as they are not honouring the discount-the website is being updated so that the code will no longer appear as if its working.

The thing is, Very.co.uk sells the game for the same price. What's to stop me doing exactly the same thing through them if that's the site the code was originally intended for?

Exactly, so why would the cancel orders? I could just make the same order for the 'correct' site.

cos it's for people opening very accounts (new). Not just new customers
