    Wonderful weezlie, I've spotted a few mistakes/confusing bits :)

    On the eggy bread recipe
Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. When these are hot (but not smoking) add the slices of egg infused bread pour the remaining egg over them and turn the heat down low.
Should this be "the oil is" or the begining should say something about more than 1 pan?

Also I thought maybe you could use this as a dessert recipe, leave out the seasoning and use a bit of spice/the waffle syrup. you could use much less egg or even none and its still tasty.

On the waffles & syrup page
Bring water to boil. Add the sugar and the cinnamon, then stir constantly for 5 minutes. By this time the sugar will be fully dissolved. Remove the syrup from heat, cool completely and bottle in a sterlised bottle or jar. This will make 300ml - use 100ml per breakfast.
should be mixed spice (or ingredients should say cinnamon?) and the 2nd bit just needs removing.

    Hello all,

I think I have CFR on the brain. I had a dream last night that I met up with Susan, her DH and DD and we went to a food festival where they only sold CFR food. Susan was telling me how to make all different types of bread. It was so real, that when I woke up I was thinking how nice Susans family were and that I should tell everyone. (I am sure they are all lovely in RL, but I havent actually met them).

I have left overs of both french onion soup and salmon pasta so that is today's menu sorted.

I have a job interview in a bit for a job I dont really want so not feeling very motivated.

Hope everyone has a good dayxxx

I was having a very bad brain day yesterday!! I've just re-read this and the bottling bit actually is correct I just read it wrongly :o

I'm so glad I only posted about 3 times on mse yesterday, I don't know why but I was constantly making stupid mistakes, I couldn't even work out how old my sister is!

lol, Sami, we all have those sort of days!

I've realised that I never posted pics of our final Christmas pudding servings...will do that shortly. I don't think anyone else has made this besides weezl? It was really really nice - VERY heavy and rich. If you're a huge pig, cut it into 4 but these are HUGE servings. Better is to cut into 8ths, then the family can eat some on Boxing Day. ;)

well the spaghetti was different it was a lot nicer that it looked and very filling but for ex and i was lacking something, not sure what though so not very helpful lol. It is not something we will be copying again without some tweaks but if i was Shirl it would have been ok. Looking forward to the pork tortillas tomorrow and even better ex has said that he will do it yay

Well, Weezl, I'm afraid that neither the omelette nor the spaghetti are one of my faves :rotfl: Perfectly serviceable, though, so no panic.

The omelette I kinda completely cacked up in terms of testing - life interfered and I had it with jacket potato only - would be much more of a "proper meal" tested properly with wedges, carrots and those lovely onion rings. I also bunged leftover stuffing into mine, which I wasn't supposed to do, but it was there, and I couldn't help myself :o And it was actually a really nice addition, so I was pleased to have done it.

Spaghetti - again, quite ok "in a bland sort of way", as !!!!!! put it, and filling enough if you are following it with a pudding anyway; but next time I make this there will be chillies and heaps of parsley on top. Quite looking forward to whenever that is, actually, as I expect it to be rather lush ;)

I very unfrugally threw Jack Skellington's innards out today, as I didn't take care of them soon enough, so they went off :( Ruddy shame, really, I'm sure they'd have been nice tarts.....

For the spaghetti I added two small red chillis - I thought it seemed a little too plain but with the chilli it was perfect - proper comfort food and ill definitely make it again!

We had the salmon pasta again today.
I made it with milk to see how it was and it was still lovely, the reason was as I'm planning to try it with goats milk for the boys so we can have it more often. (we limit cows milk because it sets off their eczema)

PS. Weezl - My costco had Natco Kidney beans next to the chick peas, I can't remember the price tho. They'd also moved them to another aisle not sure if thats a sign that you're more likely to find them now :s
