I think its an ad, 2 posts, neither of them saying much, but both have the name in the title; I put a link above to another consumer forum where they've been doing the same thing ;)

I feel a bit like an OS vigilante :rotfl:

    Yay you!

I did get a google hit, they are a printing company! Refused to look at their webpage though! Actually I will make sure i never use them in the future!

I got an email asking me if I wants great deals from another user this morning... had to report that too!!!

I would rather be online sulking over my £6 overspend :(

    Hi everyone

Spends yesterday of £22.57, so slightly more than bread and milk :rotfl:

Got another jar Kenc0 Rich Roast coffee on offer at £3 for a 200g jar (I now have 4 jars & 2 refill bags, so that should keep us going)
Got 3 packs of Egg Noodles for £3 (didn't need any, but I do use them and the offer is about to end) & 2 packs of Bertoli Olive Spread bogof offer.

They had the re-fill packs (red ones) in the £1 shop, they didn't look full size maybe 200g jar, I don't like Kenc0 so didn't get any but some people had 5 or 6 in their baskets. HTH

It's been ages since I had a tally, just counted & have updated my signature, think I was a bit naive to think that £50 could last us a month when we spend £10 on cat food & £19 on veg boxes, still got until the 25th til payday & don't think we've done too badly.
  • Not been checking in as often as I had planned. Have just been shoving my receipts on top of the computer and have just totalled them, with previous spend, to £321 so far this month. Still on target for my estimate of £400 - but plan to try to cut this figure for next month.

£5.44 spent in Tesco today on spread, soured cream, milk, eggs, garlic, an onion, a bag of clementines and some treacle. I've spotted a gingerbread recipe I fancy, so am going to try it on one of my days off.

I also have a tin of Carnation Evaporated milk with a BB of 1/10 that I am not sure whether to use at all or what for. (I also have a tin of condensed milk & a tin of Carnation caramel.)

Hi, like has already been suggested you could use the evaporated milk for jelly.
Also you could use the carnation caramel one to make a version of millionaires shortbread, or stir in some double cream until the mix is slacker and freeze, sort of like a toffee ice cream.
With the condensed milk you could make something similar to bounty bars, the recipe is on front page, post 6 BOUNTY BALLS.
However if you want to make your own carnation caramel, you can if you put the unopened tin of condensed milk in a pan of boiling water and boil for 3 hours, leave to cool and then open.

Not posted on this thread this month :o been so busy at home and at work, but have been updating the spends as i go along.
    Signature updated.

  • Spent £30.63 in Mr M's and £12.46 on an AF order. That leaves around £40 to last 8 days. Should be okay. I still need to finish off emptying the chest freezer ready to defrost it and start again for Christmas!

    OOOOOOooooopppss! :o

When I last updated on Saturday I forgot to add in the kitten food that we had just purchased. :o How could I forget a spend of £31.99?!?:think::wall: So siggy is updated now with the correct amount spent. I thought £80+ was a lot to have left in the budget! :p

Had my flu jab today and my arm is aching so I'm gonna hop off now and release you all from the torture that is my usual essay! :p

Just got to say though that some of the results so far have been amazing and everyone is doing so well. I completely agree with Hippeechiq! Well done and keep up the good work, we're on the downward path now for November. :D

    Take care all,
    Spigs

Updated signature £1.94 spent in the C**p on Sunday on whoopsied bread and some milk. Well I've only got to get to the end of tomorrow and I will just be under budget, so fingers crossed the milk lasts.

I have been considering the December budget. I haven't been buying ahead like some of you very organised ladies do, so no stash to draw upon. We will only really be entertaining MIL, BF and bringing something to the big family get-together. I am always confused as to why, if your not entertaining loads of people, Yule ends up costing so much. We all like good HM food as a day-to-day thing. Might up my budget to £400 whilst hoping not to have to spend it IYSWIM.:D

How many are upping their grocery budget for next month?
