Hello. Sorry I've not been around much, and wont be around much for a while.
Mum's appointment was yesterday and it was bad news. They can't operate, just treat, but they can't cure it. The Macmillan nurse was great, she explained that it'll probably be six rounds of chemo, but they're doing some more tests on the samples and we'll find out more next wednesday.
And on top of all that, my sister's being investigated for benefit fraud because her old job centre messed up and told her the wrong info (she declared her part time job but they didn't deal with it properly), and my income support is still suspended and I've no idea when it'll be sorted, what the guy told me on Monday was total rubbish.
My head's just a mess with all the things I have to sort out, like getting a second set of toiletries and meds and things to leave over here, starting my immune therapy asap so that I'm not catching bugs and passing them onto mum, how to deal with her finances... Although tbh I think I'm concentrating on them because it makes me feel useful and it helps to take my mind off the bigger picture.
I'm waiting for my sister to get here now, I spoke to her yesterday and played it all down, mum didn't want her to be upset and worrying all through the drive up from London, so I'll have to tell her.
Sorry for the long post, I needed to let it out, feel free to ignore!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

No Ames we will not ignore - is there anything that any of us can do to help? Even just virtual hugs do help and the knowledge that we are thinking of you. Be strong you know you can and don't worry about venting it on here, it will be a release for you. Thinking of you. Billie xx:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0
