Have you phoned the bank to explain and possibly avoid charges?

Yeah he has phoned the bank, was told be 1 person they had been returned and had a charge of £105 but I know as long as the money goes in by 1 they will get paid, So he phoned someone else and they told him that, luckily I have money in the business account so I can put the money in.

Buffy, what a pain about the cooker!
    Luc, happy shopping :)
Sally.. mm cake.. I have a strange urge to make Christmas cake this year, although I've no idea what we're doing for Christmas.. I want to pour alcohol into it on a weekly basis :D
Hi QB - Christmas club sounds like a good plan.
    Claire, definitely ring the bank.
LMC, how's the ear? Hope it and stomach are a bit better now.
    Hi Vicky - yay payday!

Good morning! Just nipping on to say 'HELLOOO' and Happy Thursday to you all!

Buffy, I've just seen your 'procrastination' saying...never a truer word I have to say. My mum says "Procrastination is the thief of time" and I say that to myself if I'm putting something off or faffing about and not doing a lot!

So I'm not going to procrastinate any longer and I am now going to join our credit union and the Christmas savers club (2011 of course!) I thought about it at the beginning of this year, didn't, and am now regretting not having £100 available to spend on Xmas!

    Whoosh and see you later!!

    QBxx

is that the Ipswich & Suffolk credit union? i've been looking about joining it.. but not sure.

  • Red, the ear is feeling better. I think it's my body reacting to the stress I've been under recently.

I've now got a craving for Christmas cake!

Sal, this is the recipe I use for boiled cake. http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/5824/nans-boiled-fruit-cake
