    Hi Buffy.

If you have no ventilation bricks how could the old one have been connected?

I need to see if I can pick up a pair of trousers and some undies that fit at lunchtime - I am starting to look like a bag lady....

  • The regulations changed in 2005 apparently, before that you didn't need vents.....or an open window would be enough, our kitchen has a conservatory attached.

they said a similar thing about the old boiler - we should have had bigger vents in the cubboard thing its in, the new one is fine as it is.

tbh in my own house I'm bloody well having electric. Sick of worrying about the bloody house blowing up!

@Sal - I have to find someone. bless him tho the guy was so nice and so apologetic.

Good morning! Just nipping on to say 'HELLOOO' and Happy Thursday to you all!

Buffy, I've just seen your 'procrastination' saying...never a truer word I have to say. My mum says "Procrastination is the thief of time" and I say that to myself if I'm putting something off or faffing about and not doing a lot!

So I'm not going to procrastinate any longer and I am now going to join our credit union and the Christmas savers club (2011 of course!) I thought about it at the beginning of this year, didn't, and am now regretting not having £100 available to spend on Xmas!

    Whoosh and see you later!!

Am just into a 10. When I saw you in July I was a definite 14. I've only lost about half a stone in weight though. Its very confusing but I'm certainly not complaining!

    Good morning

Not good buffy, dh just said we have no ventilation bricks either.

Wee I've just got up, dh can cleaned the bathroom and kitchen :) bathroom is now looking lovely, the only thing left to do in there is putting the tile trim on and putting some coving up :)

Kitchen is finished apart from a second coat of paint on a row of tiles :)

Living room has been painted :) went and got wallpaper yesterday, so hopefully that will be put up today. So the house is starting to look really clean and tidy, surprising how different a room can look with a fresh coat of paint on it.

Luc thats fab! I'm between a 14 and a 12 14's are too big need a belt, 12 I can do up but are tight and not comfortable. I've not lost any weight for a few weeks now, nor have I put any on so I'm happy.

  • Buffy, that's rubbish that you're not able to use your new cooker.

Luc, how much weight have you lost?

Sal, Nigella boil cake makes the best Christmas cake! I'll try and post link.

I'm in work; still feeling a bit rough as my stomach and I had a falling out at 2am! Sorry TMI. On a brighter note, I've lost 1lb!

    Lots of love,
