Slippery decking

There is plenty of stuff out there. I wouldn't recommend paint though, unless you seal the whole of the decking and then paint it, and even then you will have to redo it after 2-3 years.. it will get expensive.
Use some anti slip strips, maybe clear ones. You can get them from Heskins.0 -
Anybody got any bright ideas for making my decking a little less like an ice rink when it rains? More than once we've ended up on our btms when rushing outside. I'm thinking some kind of non slip material? I don't want to lay down chicken wire because it's so ugly. Any help would be gratefully received.
You could always stop rushing about on the decking when you know that it is likely to be slippery. Otherwise, I'd go for the sand in the decking paint idea. I have done the sandy paint thing sometime in the past. It seemed to work ok.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

I bought one of these as a result of seeing this thread.
I bought the T-400 Racer to go on a decent Karcher pressure washer.
I cleaned 60m2 of decking plus a sleeper wall and steps in one hour without mess.
It is extremely good, I highly recommend this unit.
Remember though you'll need to re treat your deck after washing, this strips everything off it.0
