Here's a one that has worked for me.

Showing in all stores I visited...Motorola SLVR L7 - (the black one). The white SEL says £74.97 and this is what you get charged. However....


There is a 10% off promo on ALL PAYG mobiles; all the mobs (except the SLVR) have a yellow SEL showing the previous price crossed out and the 'current price' (inc the 10% off). This is what they have to do to show that the price includes the 10% off.

THe SLVR has only a white SEL with no crossed out previous price - so that indicates the price pre-10% off.

There is a disclaimer in the 10% off flyer that basically says 'excludes introductory offers and discontinued lines'; - however the SLVR is not marked as falling into either category (again there are yellow SELs on those affected).

The reality is that the SLVR should have a Yellow 'Discontinued' SEL but for some reason stores haven't put it out.

It needs a good argument to stand any chance of getting R&R on this - basically along the lines of

1. It's not marked as Introductory or Discontinued, so 10% off should apply
2. Since it doesn't show the previous price and the new 'after 10% off' price (as per all the yellow SELs), the price shown should be considered the 'pre-offer' price and should be subject to 10% off

You also need a bit of a brass neck (and other body parts)!!!!!!!!!!

All explained here, post 1090 on the discussion thread, if you fail I would be very surprised, especially as we know the offer DOES work on the Originals (same size) so that scuppers any argument that it's the smaller packs only:

Just got my first ever R&R. Finest Aberdeen Angus Burgers, bought 2 packs. £1.59 on pack and small white SEL. Big white SEL £1.49, full R&R no problem! This could get addictive

not sure if this is a r&r but 2 of my local Tescos have cleared their shelves of Ice Age 2 DVD ???????????? they were putting them all in a trolley and taking them off sale

Free pringles today in one store tho CS tried to tell me they know the sour cream ones are excluded but I reminded her that the SEL doesnt say that (and it didnt -wish I had got more now!)

But in another shop the pringles are now scanning in the 2 for £2.30 discount - so looks like they are fixing it

That is funny - the first store I was in had them cleared as well but the second didnt and had them on at £9.xx

I just assumed the first store were sold out but sounds like it might be something else - hope I dont regret not picking it up in the second, though planning to hold off till nearer xmas.

Hi guys, had a great day today.

Managed to get 2 Roald Dahl books & Gripshift on the psp ( thanks for the people who posted these).

I found a new one today managed to get a Philips HDD1620 6GB MP3 Player
White sel £149.97 but it went through at something like £167.79.

They said they'd refund the difference :rotfl: but i said no i believe your policy is to refund it all & give me the product. CS girl was fab but the manager on the phone wasn't lol.
