Am due an upgrade; Vodafone have just offered me a deal on the samsung galxy- £20/month for the 1st 9 months, then £30 thereafter, 24 month contract -600 mins, unlimited data & texts. I have to pay £20 for the handset though.
Any reviews of either handset much appreciated, thanks

I have the Galaxy and I love it. Less apps than the iPhone (buit they dont have to be approved by Apple) but you can change battery, add extra memory all things you cant do on an iPhone. Also they cost a lot less. Next step, Galaxy Tab and iPad that also work as a phone.

I would be amazed and would require proof that the IPhone is better than the Galaxy .Especially on the VFM side .

Android apps got all i want free from Android market .More toys on the IPhone market though if that's your game .True enough that at present IPhone has more apps but Android market growing .

Samsung should have the update to Android Froyo 2.2 by December .

Android loads of user forums .

Unlimited will mean limited data in some way .

  • The Galaxy S Pro and the S2 aren't too far away, so if you are looking to get the current Galaxy S in the near future you would be wise to push for the best deal possible.

  • Well theres no unlimited data on Iphone and if your lucky a flexible fair usuage policy.

Otherwise its like comparing a Ferrari (Iphone) to a Audi TT (Galaxy)

I what way name the bits you get on Apple that are missing on Galaxy apart from the hundred fifty extra notes .

Usually goes deadly silent at this point .
Sure it would be useful to the OP proper comparisons as i take it you have never owned a Ferrari .

You get a better all round experience, through wider range of apps, itunes friendly, part of the apple "community" and in line with the latest fashion. Some things in life are priceless, for everything else theres credit cards.

I think that is the first time I've heard iTunes friendly being an advantage- even my pals with iPhones hate it!

As for the final statement, I think you may have missed the purpose of this website!

Suppose it is really. Audi's are reliable. Ferrari's catch fire, all that money up in flames!! :D

Just shows the proof Apple fanboys are like Volvo drivers .
The Lights on but nobody behind the wheel .

Apple community ??? Prefer the Android community as most of them have left school .

Better all round = wider range of apps True at present though Android apps rapidly growing and I dont seem to be missing any i want . Not forgetting Apple tend to charge a lot more .

ITunes who on earth would want their restrictions .
