    Deedee,
CS would have refunded me 5 then minus £4.98 = £19.92.
So I still would have paid for one.
I will stop here as confusing myself.
No I don't work for Tesco. :rotfl:

I'm sure I saw somewhere that somebody had a file with all the tesco addresses to be put into a satnav system. I've spent about half an hour searchiong for it- does anyone have the link ?

I think they are called points of interest (poi) and can be used with the TomTom. If anyone does find it could the link be also put on the first page for others ?

    Thanks in advance everyone

Ok guys didn't see any misprices on my trip to tesco tonight. But what I did see was another guy getting so many duplicate items R&R'd it was obvious to myself (the rowenta iron confirmed an MSE reader)that it wasn't by chance. After he left the CS girl called the security guy over and asked him if he had clocked the guys face and if so remember him.
It's great that he has managed to get so much this time but it was way over the top and has probably ruined it for himself in the future.
If your one of the guys on here who was in a bucks tesco at about 8pm be warned as they clocked you!!

Missed the iron though - really wanted one for MIL and now sel has been removed.

just been looking at the sat navs, they have a Navman ICN720 with yellow saying " save £50 reduced from £399 to £349" offers ends 19/10/06

Strangely it scanned at £299.97 ????????

So fish is a no no!
But the meat still confuses me,
if the price on the pack is the price you pay how are you overcharged? If the piece of steak is £2.88 and it scans at £2.88, I can`t get the refund?
When you pick up the pack you know the price.

Steak SEL £11.00 Per kg Pack £2.88
Pack £12.00 Per kg Pack £2.88

    Receipt Steak £2.88.

What exactly can I say to CS, I need some free meat!!!

On meat and other stuff priced per kg....the price you pay is the price on the pack. This price is determined by the kg price on the pack....so your example of £2.88 has been worked out from the £12 per kg price.

The SEL says that the price should really be £11 per kg......which would work out less than £2.88.

Forget about the individual pack price......its the Price per kg that matters........and if its cheaper on the SEL than it is on the pack.....you need a refund

DeeDee(post 770).....got it the wrong way round.(by her own admission......too much of the full bodied red stuff tonight)........The SEL must be cheaper than the pack per kg.....but the explanation was correct.

If CS argues that it showed the price you paid....all you need to say is that you expected the SEL price to show up at the till....(although dont mention SEL)

They aren't allowed to show 2 different prices for the same article ie £12kg and £11kg....and if they do.....they must charge the lowest price......they didnt so a full RandR is in order.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
